Abstract: |
A low complexity Linear Minimum Mean Square Error(LMMSE) channel estimation algo
rithm is proposed.
In this algorithm,the channel autocorrelation matrix is partitioned into small
sub-matrices by us
ing non-overlap and overlap techniques. Since the proposed estimator uses small
sub-matrices instead of the whole channel auto-correlation matrix, the complexit
y is significantly reduced in spite of slight performance degradation. The perfo
rmance of Mean Square Error(MSE) is evaluated in an exponentially fading cha
nnel model through computer simulation and the effectiveness of the proposed alg
orithm is verified. |
