摘    要:调节定向起源于心理学的动机理论,其法则网络跨越了个体、团队和组织,越来越多地被用于解释组织现象,对管理学研究产生了重要影响。本文首先讨论了调节定向的理论基础,然后从多层视角出发,总结了组织管理中与调节定向相关的研究,如领导力、人力资源管理、创业管理和战略管理等,特别关注了个体与情境之间的调节匹配,指出如何根据环境调整激励策略。此外,本文强调了集体调节定向的作用,认为集体调节定向有助于认识工作场所的激励过程。最后,本文从多层调节匹配、社会影响、动态机制和个体差异四个方面为未来调节定向的研究指明了方向。

A Review of Regulatory Focus in Organizational Management Research

Abstract:Regulatory focus is a motivational theory originated from psychology, whose nomological network spans individuals, teams, and organizations. It is increasingly used to explain organizational phenomena and has an important impact on management research. This paper firstly discusses the theoretical foundation of regulatory focus. Then, from multi-level perspective, the paper summarizes the research related to regulatory orientation in organizational management, such as leadership, human resource management, entrepreneurial management, and strategic management, with particular attention to regulatory fit between individuals and contexts, pointing out how to adjust the motivational strategy according to the environment. Besides, this paper emphasizes the role of collective regulatory focus, which helps to understand the motivational processes in the workplace. Finally, the paper provides four feasible avenues for future regulatory focus research: multi-level regulatory fit, social implication, temporal mechanism, and individual differences.
