本文以欧洲的设计作品为例,分析指出室内设计等同于"室内建筑"的设计,并从建筑设计、结构设计、光线设计、绿色生态设计、科学设计、家具设计等几个方面阐述了"室内建筑"设计所涉及的内容。文章认为"整体化设计、细部设计、文化交融及坚持功能原则"仍为当今欧洲室内设计的主流。

"Proxy Power" and Corporate Democracy:

A bstract . Separation of corporate ownership from control has permitted the rise of a self perpetuating managerial elite , which operates businesses in its own self interest. The attempt of the corporate democracy and corporate responsibility movements to curb unbridled management power through stockholder proxy proposals has been highly publicized. Analysis of stockholder initiated resolutions contained in the proxy statements of 626 corporations indicates that relatively few companies receive even one resolution, that proposers are usually small shareholders operating independently or in loose coalitions with limited resources and divergent interests, that managements use massive resources to oppose virtually all proposals and defeat most overwhelmingly, and that the handful of management concessions to stockholder activists is actually cosmetic mollification. We conclude the proxy power is structurally weak and is not a realistic agent of corporate change, in that management structure and policy-making power remain intact.     

"Though Not an Irishman"

A bstract . One of the most important elements to the rise of Henry George to international prominence in the 1880s was his-successful cultivation of a large Irish-American following. This was no small accomplishment, given the fact that George was not Irish Catholic, but rather English-American Protestant. Nonetheless, through his early interest in Ireland's troubles, marriage to Irish Catholic Annie McCloskey Fox, friendship with Patrick Ford and Michael Davitt, activism in the Irish Land League, travels through Ireland during the Land War as a correspondent for the Irish World , and linking the struggle of Irish peasants against economic injustice to a similar struggle of American workers, George developed an enormous Irish-American following. This relationship accounted for much of the early sales of Progress and Poverty and subsequent lecture opportunities, as well as making him known widely throughout the British Isles. The culmination of this phenomenon was George's sensational run for mayor of New York City in 1886.

"制交通权"改称"制物流权"为宜

在世界范围内发生新军事变革的今天,制交通权理论的提出无疑是对高技术条件下制权理论的创新与发展。本文以交通和物流的概念为切入点,认为交通和物流在内涵上具有从属性;从制权理论的本质要求上看,制交通权和其它制权理论相重合的部分多,独立的部分少,而制物流权则具有较强的独立性;以制物流权理论指导新时期军事斗争准备,更具有全面性和系统性。综合以上几点原因,本文认为制物流权的提法比制交通权的提法更合理。     

变“知识型教学”为“智慧型教学”

为了使课堂教学既有利于传授知识,又有利于开发智力,培养创新能力,必须改变传统的教学模式。新的课堂教学模式应该变学员"消极接受知识"为"主动获取知识";变"模仿式学习"为"发现式学习";变"只接受科学结论"为"既接受科学结论,更掌握科学方法"。培养创新型人才,必须变"知识型教学"为"智慧型教学"。文章分析了"知识型教学"与"智慧型教学"的本质区别,指出要真正实现"智慧型教学",除了要求教师"用心去教"外,还要求教师要"用心去交"。     

城中村改造中的"市场失灵"和"政府失灵"及防止途径

城中村是中国快速城市化进程中出现的特有现象。城中村改造问题的本质是利益问题,实质上是与城中村改造相关的利益各方利益调整的过程。由于市场失灵的存在,城中村改造基本都在政府主导下进行,但由于政府的失灵,往往也会产生很多弊端。但大多数学者仍认为政府应该在改造的过程中发挥主导作用,问题是政府应该在城中村改造中发挥怎样的作用,或者说市场的边界又在哪里。本文初步明确了城中村改造中政府干预的重点和市场的边界,阐明了城中村改造的总体思路,最后提出了防止城中村改造失败的对策。     

浅谈《机械制图》与《CAD》

当前,《机械制图》与《CAD》是两门独立的课程,把这两门有关系的课程割裂开来,不但增加了学习课时,而且学习起来费时费力。为此有的学校还专门提到了一个新名词:课程的综合。这将突出强调了实用性、够用性的原则,打破了原来课程的系统性、专业性,大大减轻学生的负担。     

Comments on McClennen's "Prudence and Constitutional Rights"

ABSTRACT . In The Calculus of Consent, Buchanan and Tullock argue, among other things, that institutional safeguards are required to ensure maximal benefit for all members of a community against the potential tyranny of the majority. McClennen extends this idea by introducing prudential concerns and argues that they ought to be factored into the decision making that constructs such safeguards. Specifically, McClennen sees the safeguarding of prudential concerns for all members of society as a matter of distribution that should be secured from the random fate of the political process through constitutional means. His method for ensuring the constitutional mandate is to place the responsibility for achieving this result in the hands of the judiciary. I argue that there are two problems with his solution: (1) it is ahistorical; and (2) it assumes the judiciary is without politics.

剖析了空港都市区形成的动力机制及其地域圈层结构,研究表明,在经济发达且拥有区域性航空枢纽的地区,临空产业因机场特有的区位优势和要素集聚功能而聚集在机场周边,它们在城市郊区化和交通运输方式变革带来的扩散效应和临空产业集聚的共生效应的共同作用下,形成相互依托、具有自我组织能力的临空产业高度集中的经济区域。临空产业聚集同时具备地方化和城市化两种效应,机场周边地区因此演化成一种新的城市空间——空港都市区。     

论开启新农村消防工作“安全门”的“五把钥匙”

文章针对加强社会主义新农村建设消防工作中存在的消防安全隐患,分析火灾隐患存在的原因,并结合我国农村的实际,提出开启新农村消防工作"安全门"的"五把钥匙",并进一步指出解决问题的对策,为当前社会主义新农村消防工作提供理论依据和参考。     

审计定价与“中签者之祸”及其思考

鉴于对低价进入式审计定价策略的关注,本论文评述了一个审计市场二阶段竞价模型。在这个模型中,审计成本包括两个部分:对所有可能的审计人员一致的共同审计成本和因具体审计人员而异的个别审计成本。正是由于这部分共同审计成本的存在,导致了“中签者之祸”情况的产生。论文认为,经验丰富的审计者通过改变审计竞价策略,以补偿“中签者之祸”带来的损失。这一点,对于“低价进入式竞价策略”(第一阶段审计价格的降低)的程度和审计人员的变更,起着重要的作用。在二阶段审计竞价模型中,“低价进入式竞价策略”与审计质量损失无关。基于上述分析框架,作者简要地陈述了我国审计服务市场的收费情况并做出了相关评论。
