传统文化视野下企业社会责任体系的构建

随着中国企业逐渐融入世界经济的发展潮流,企业社会责任正成为中国企业发展必须面对的问题。中国传统文化中有丰富的关于社会责任观念的理论源泉,需要在系统分析传统文化中责任观念的四个维度的基础上,结合具有鲜明中国传统文化特色的老字号企业承担社会责任的实践,构建新的企业社会责任体系,可以为中国特色的企业社会责任理论的发展提供更多的借鉴。     

从“三聚氰胺奶粉事件”探析企业社会责任建设

中国乳制品企业集体丧失企业伦理道德和社会责任,致使含有三聚氰胺的婴幼儿配方奶粉酿成了重大食品安全事故,引发了中国企业社会责任缺失危机,折射出构建企业社会责任体系的迫切性。为此,中国企业亟需建设以企业道德为基础的企业社会责任体系,把企业社会责任落实到企业运营所有环节上,重视产品质量,端正发展理念,积极主动承担相应责任。

中国式企业社会责任探讨——基于中国移动企业社会责任报告的案例分析

近年来,企业社会责任受到越来越多的关注,许多国家的公司已开始编制社会责任报告。我国的社会责任报告起步较晚,但在各种政策法规的推动下发展迅速,企业社会责任概念作为"舶来品"进入中国,随着中国经济转轨、社会转型,中国也需要发掘自己的企业社会责任理念。以中国移动通信集团公司(简称中国移动)连续三年的社会责任报告为例进行分析,探索中国式企业的社会责任。     

2007中国企业社会责任实践基准报告（下）

为了全面报告中国企业履行企业社会责任的基本情况,反映中国企业在社会责任实践领域的进展,《WTO经济导刊》金蜜蜂企业社会责任发展中心在全国范围内开展调查的基础上,组织编制了首份年度企业社会责任基准报告——“2007中国企业社会责任实践基准报告”,本项活动作为一项长期活动,将每年举行一次,并发布相应年度基准报告,用以推动社会责任理念在中国的普及,帮助中国企业全面提升责任竞争力。

How do ownership control position and national culture influence conflict resolution strategies in international joint ventures?

In this study, we investigate the relationship between ownership control position, national culture, and selection of conflict resolution strategies (CRS) of multinational corporations (MNCs) in their attempts to solve conflicts with local partners in international joint ventures (IJVs). The empirical evidence is based on a survey of 89 Nordic MNCs. The results show that MNCs select their CRS depending on their national culture and their ownership control position in IJVs. In addition, interesting results were found related to the interaction effects on the choice of CRS of national culture and ownership control position as well as of the trust between partners and national culture.     

Compulsory child restraint seat law and motor vehicle child occupant deaths and injuries in Japan 1994-2005

The purpose of child restraint seats (CRS) is to reduce the number of individuals killed or injured in motor vehicle (MV) crashes. Japanese Road Traffic Law 17-3-4 (April 2000) specifies a requirement that CRS be used for all children aged 0-5 years. The objective of this evaluation was to determine the legislative impact on fatalities in Japan for the period 1994-2005. Data were obtained from the Institute for Traffic Accident Research and Data Analysis. A time-series Poisson regression model was used to analyse the change (6 years pre/post) in incidence rate ratios of fatality and injury in MV crashes among children ages 0-5 years. Despite increases in CRS use, fatalities failed to decrease significantly after enactment of the law (incidence rate ratio: 0.80; 95% CI: 0.49-1.31). In 2005, 67% of children aged 0-5 years, who were killed as MV occupants were not seated in CRS. Between 2000 and 2005, the lack of CRS led to 43% of front seat passenger deaths, 54% of rear seat deaths, 143 children died in total and 500 + children were seriously injured. It was found that the compulsory CRS law enacted in April 2000 did not result in a statistically significant reduction in child MV occupant fatalities and injuries in Japan.     

Reshoring from a demand-side perspective: Consumer reshoring sentiment and its market effects

Reshoring is the company decision to relocate activities back to the home country. Our study complements the existing research in IB by adopting a demand-side perspective. We identify new, demand-based drivers for reshoring that integrate with the firm-based ones, thereby further informing the company decision process in this context. We develop a Consumer Reshoring Sentiment (CRS) scale through multiple studies conducted on consumers (total = 1149) in two countries. Our findings reveal: six demand-based drivers that compose CRS; a link between CRS and consumer willingness to reward the reshoring company; and the effectiveness of CRS in segmenting and targeting the market.     

Results of the contract responsibility system in the people's republic of China: An analysis of two state enterprises

In the People's Republic of China (PRC) market oriented reforms have resulted in several initiatives that promote entrepreneurial activities within state enterprises. One of these is the Contract Responsibility System (CRS) which provides the financial structure for allocating the profits of state enterprises between the government and the enterprises. The objective of the CRS is to increase the profits of state enterprises by transforming them into self-supporting economic cells. It is the purpose of this study to examine the operation of the CRS. This study profiles two state enterprises operating under the CRS and discusses the reasons for their success or failure. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.     

认知无线电网络子空间映射频谱共享

针对集中式多用户多天线认知无线电网络,分析了子空间映射能够为认知系统提供的通信机会以及理想信道条件下的空间子信道分配方案。在此基础上,提出了一种基于子空间映射的频谱共享策略。根据认知系统的感知结果,计算可以利用的空间子信道数,通过认知用户接入控制和子空间映射避免或抑制系统间干扰,从而在保证授权用户通信质量的前提下,为认知用户提供通信机会。仿真结果表明,与已有的子空间映射频谱共享方法相比,该策略不仅具有更高的认知系统可达和速率,而且能够为认知系统提供更多通信机会。

We know that the internet has become a key distribution point for hotels, but that only makes a hotel's CRS even more important.     

Can sustained growth be attained through trading exhaustible resources for foreign research?

We analyze the existence and the stability of a sustained balanced growth equilibrium (SBE) in a model of two non-homogeneous trading economies. A technological leader country which sells patents of new intermediate products in exchange for an exhaustible resource extracted by a technological follower trade partner. Considering a growth-essential resource, the ‘knife-edge’ assumption of exactly constant returns to scale (CRS) to manmade inputs can be alleviated, and the scale effects associated with R&D-based growth models overcome. A fully endogenous SBE is proven to exist, although its stability turns out to be a ‘knife-edge’ possibility. The long-run equilibrium is saddle-path stable assuming CRS in manmade inputs. Conversely, considering increasing returns to scale together with a completely specialized two-country trade, the equilibrium could be reached only if the two economies initially guard a particular relation, described by a particular subset of the state space.     

What does the future hold for consumer cooperative societies?

The Co-operative Movement has always seen itself as championing consumers' interests. However, its importance has declined over the years as it has struggled to reorganize itself to meet modern retailing needs, the latest example concerning the difficulties involved in merging the two largest retail co-operative societies, CRS and CWS. This article uses a survey of co-operative directors to throw light on some of the issues involved. It is argued that the Co-op's best hope lies in differentiating itself from its competitors by an emphasis on basic values. But the Co-op has difficult obstacles to overcome and further decline seems likely.     

An assessment of operational efficiency of retail firms in China

This study aims to assess operational efficiency of retail firms in China. Economic efficiencies of 61 retailers working in China between 2000 and 2003 are examined in this study using three related methodologies: data envelopment analysis (DEA), Malmquist productivity index (MPI), and a bootstrapped Tobit regression model. DEA analysis shows that only seven retail firms are considered as efficient under CRS assumption in 2002, and four firms in 2003. MPI results indicate that about 37.7 percent (23 out of 61) of retail firms have registered progress in terms of MPI during 2000 and 2003. Results of the bootstrapped Tobit analysis show that retail characteristic plays a significant role influencing retail efficiency.
