Building Materials Sub-council of CCPIT is the other sub-council in construction field.CCPIT Building Materials Subcouncil（CCPITBM）,as well as CCOIC Building Materials Chamber of Commerce,is authorized by CCPIT and state administration of building materials industry in 1992.CCPITBM is a sub-organization of CCPIT and CCOIC. Meanwhile, it is a non-governmental organization for commercial trade and liaison with trade organization, chamber of commerce, association, and other economic group internationally in the field of building materials industry.     

RMB Appreciation in 2008

At the beginning of 2007, both foreign investment banks and domestic commercial banks all thought that last year＇s RMB appreciation would grow between 4 to 5 percent; however the realization of a 6.77 percent increase has surprised everyone. The RMB has appreciated much faster than expected, keeping pace with the rise of China＇s foreign trade surplus and foreign exchange reserves.     

Four T Problems

The devastating Sichuan earth- quake is recently estimated to have indirectly caused RMB 30 billion to 60 billion in damage and the total economic losses could be as high as RMB 105 billion to 190 billion,and it will also slow the growth of the nation＇s economy by 0.15 to 0.2 percentage points during the second to fourth quarter of the year, according to the Southwest Securities research and development center.     

Operation of the National Real Estate Market from Jan.to July,2009

From January to July this year, the total investment in real estate development amounted to 1,772.0 billion yuan, up by 11.6 percent year-on-year, and went up 1.7 percentage points over first half year, while that of a decrease of 19.3 percentage points over same period of previous year. Of which, investment in commercial residential buildings reached 1,242.7 billion yuan, 8.2 percent of increase year-on-year, picking up 0.9 percentage points over first half year, or 25.5 percentage points dropped over same period of previous year, which occupied 70.1 percent of the investment in real estate development.     

Warning: Export Sharp Decline

The export of Chinese light industrial products mainly covers 19 categories of 45 sectors, including food, pa-permaking, home electrical appliances industry and etc. According to Chinese customs statistics, the export value of the light industrial products in the first four months only managed to reach US$136.7 billion, 17.8 percent drop compared with the same period last year, however 2.7 percentage points lower than the national total export decline rate.

Statistics Analysis: FDI Obsorbing in Jan-Jun

According to China's Customs' statistics,from January to May 2008,the import and export volume of foreign- invested enterprises totaled US$563.612 billion,an increase of 21.28 percent over the same period of last year,5.02 percent lower than the growth rate of the country (26.30 percent) in the same period,accounting for 55.69 percent of the total import and export of the country.(See Chart 1)

江西森林碳储量空间分布特征及其价值分析

利用立木蓄积量、森林面积及森林土壤碳储量等基本监测数据,对江西省森林生态系统的碳储量和碳汇及其经济价值进行了估算。结果表明:江西省森林生态系统碳储量为1 286.37×106t,年碳汇能力为53.92×106t,其经济价值分别为3 923.429亿元和164.47亿元,江西省森林生态系统平均碳密度为147.57 t/hm2。预计江西省年2010年到2020年间森林生态系统碳汇潜力278.09×106t碳或1 020.59×106t CO2,由此产生的经济效益平均每年可达53.01亿元。同时还对江西省11个市的森林碳储量、碳汇及其经济价值进行了估算,得出了全省各市森林生态系统碳储量和空间分布特征以及各地的森林碳汇林地价格。
