SCTP在无线网络上的最佳协议参数配置分析

本文研究了在WLAN、GPRS、UMTS这3种无线网络上运行流控制传输协议(SCTP)时,不同的协议参数配置对系统传输性能的影响。文中找出了达到最大系统传输性能时的SCTP协议参数设置,从而解决了符合IETF-RFC2960的SCTP应用于无线网络上协议最佳参数选择的关键问题。理论分析和仿真结果表明,运行于无线网络上时,采用了最佳参数配置的SCTP协议传输性能明显地高于采用传统参数配置的SCTP协议。

H.323和SIP在IP多媒体网络中互通的实现

基于SIP和Windows的软电话设讣与实现

首先介绍了SIP协议,包括其功能、系统基本组成、消息格式,然后设计了软件的三大模块:用户界面模块、SIP UA模块、语音通信模块,并使用编程工具V isual C 6.0、SIP协议栈OSIP、EXOSIP及RTP协议栈W inRTP实现了该软电话。测试结果表明,该SIP软电话在局域网环境下具有良好的通话质量。

针对VHF话音通信无法支持远距离通信的问题,对VOIP技术进行了研究。提出了一种 基于会话初始协议（SIP）的VHF话音通信远程接入系统的实现方法,给出了系统体系架构, 以及接入控制设备和远程控制软件的参考设计。系统中接入控制设备和远程控制软件实现 SIP用户代理功能,从而提供接入SIP系统的能力。仿真结果证明了该方法的有效性,从而为 VHF话音通信系统的应用范围扩展提供了新的思路。

Foreign acquisitions by Chinese firms: A strategic intent perspective

This article presents a strategic intent perspective (SIP) to analyze the foreign acquisitions made by Chinese firms. It suggests that Chinese firms strategically use cross-border acquisitions to achieve goals, such as acquiring strategic capabilities to offset their competitive disadvantages and leveraging their unique ownership advantages, while making use of institutional incentives and minimizing institutional constraints. The SIP is supported by the evidence from three firms that we studied, where dozens of interviews were conducted, including the one with the founder of Lenovo. This study contributes to extant international business theories by incorporating the SIP to examine internationalization strategies of firms from developing countries.

Perceptions of Marketing and Approaches to Implementation

In the first macroeconomic empirical assessment of the relationship between mobile phones and finance, the author examines the correlations between mobile phone penetration and financial development using two conflicting definitions of the financial system in the financial development literature. With the traditional International Financial Statistics (IFS) (2008) definition, mobile phone penetration has a negative correlation with traditional financial intermediary dynamics of depth, activity, and size. However, when a previously missing informal-financial sector component is integrated into the definition, mobile phone penetration has a positive correlation with informal financial development. Three implications result: There is a growing role of informal finance; mobile phone penetration may not be positively assessed at a macroeconomic level by traditional financial development indicators; and it is a wake-up call for scholarly research on informal financial development indicators that will orient monetary policy.

个人网关的研究与实现

Navigating China's labyrinth: Singapore government‐linked companies and lessons learned from their experiences

The government‐linked companies (GLCs) were among the earliest Singapore firms to venture into China and tap into its rapid economic growth. Riding on their expertise in services and manufacturing, the financially strong GLCs have been able to penetrate the mainland market and gain a firm foothold in China. However, their success has not come easy. Many of the GLCs experienced many difficulties and had to learn to deal with the complexities of doing business in the mainland. This article uses an analytical framework to explore the difficulties that the GLCs face, with the Singapore‐Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) as a case study. The article also examines if there has been a change in the business strategies after the SIP experience, offering some useful lessons for companies investing in China. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
