CPIT Jiangsu Sub-Council Organized Local Enterprises to the USA seeking opportunities

In order to further strengthen the cooperation between the local companies in Jiang-su Province and their counterparts in the USA in the fields such as environmental -protection, biomedicine and sophisticated machines etc. CCPIT Jianasu Sub-coun-cil, at the invitation of Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Los Angeles Economic Development Bureau etc, organized the local enterprises to visit the USA for matching negotiations and exchange from December 10 to December 17.

The Sine-Egyptian Joint Business Council Business Forum Held

On December 25, Chairman Wan Jifei led the Chinese business delegation attending the Sino-Egyptian Joint Business Council Business Forum co-hosted by the CCPIT and the Sino-Egyptian Business Council in Cairo, Egypt. Chinese vice Premier Li Keqiang who was on a visit to Egypt attended the forum and addressed the opening ceremony.

American Las Vegas Sands Corp. Visiting Beijing

On August 29, Wan Jifei, Chairman of CCPIT, meets the visiting delegation led by Sheldon G. Adelson, Chairman of the Board and principal owner of Las Vegas Sands Corp. in CCPIT. Zhao Zhenge, Vice Director of International Connection Department of CCPIT, Luo Guoxiong from Beijing China Exhibition Investment Company, Xu Jingyi, Assistant Director of American and Oceanian Affairs Division of CCPIT, also attended the meeting.

China-Liberia Investment and Trade Forum Held

On the afternoon of July 9, Boakai, the Vice President of Liberia who took a state visit to China, attended Sino-Liberia Investment and Trade Forum sponsored by CCPIT. And a talk was carried on between Boakai, the Vice-President of Li beria, and Zhangwei, the Chairman of CCPIT.     

China Business Delegation Visits U.S and Canada

CCPIT will organize a business delegation consisting of over one hundred entrepreneurs to visit U.S. and Canada in June 2009, which are invited by US Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Western Gover-nors Association and the China-Canada Trade Council. Mr. Han Meiqing, vice minister of International Liaison Department of CCPIT, announced this news on April 16, 2009 at a press conference. And they will launch a series of economic and trade exchanges. “Forum on Sino-US trade and investment cooperation” will be held in the U.S, and it will be the largest scale economic and trade exchange by China and U.S business communities since Obama took office.

Executive Summary
After two preliminary trials in 2005 and 2006, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade （CCPIT） conducted the ＂Survey on Current Conditions of and Intention for Outbound Investment by Chinese Enterprises＂ from December of 2008 to February of 2009. We standardized the samples and enlarged the scale to present an in-depth landscape of the current conditions of and intention for outbound investment by Chinese enterprises as China adopts the ＂Going Global＂ strategy to encourage outbound investment, and the development of outbound investment by comparing the results of this survey and the previous two surveys.
