In the auto market, consumers often asked a question why the same car in the European and American market is cheaper than that in China. The key to this question lies in ,the difference of profit chains between European & American market and Chinese market. In the mature European or American market, the portion of profit from auto sales accounting for the total profit is comparatively small, and quite a large share of profit derives from the auto's after-sale service market. With car ownership breaking through 30 million in China, the competition in auto industry in China is increasingly fiercer. And the time to rake in profits solely through selling cars has passed. The auto's after-sale service market gradually becomes another battle field for profit grab.  相似文献

It can be said that the auto industry has seen a big shakeup since the breakout of the financial crisis last year, whether in China or in western countries. In order to help the auto industry keep its steady development, the Chinese government formulated the Automobile Industry Restructuring.and Revitalization Plan. Many other related institutes also took measures to assist the development of this industry. The China Auto International Exhibition Tour, organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF) and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), has been engaged in introducing China's automobiles to the world and promoting the worldwide recognition of Chinese auto brands since 1995. Now, as the 7th China Auto International Exhibition Tour is about to begin, China's Foreign Trade interviewed Zhang Xiaoyu, Vice Chairman of CMIF, about the current status of the auto industry in China and China's auto exports in 2009.  相似文献

Despite China's auto market is till immersed in the afterglow of its "great eruption of oil well," as if every model of cars, costing a high price or low price, would all sell well on the market, yet it can be predicted that the year 2003 will, no doubt, be a year of price for China's auto industry. As soon as a big equivalent "bomb of price" would blow off in the beginning of the year, the pricing in China's auto market is sure to go through a sweeping reshuffle, and an effect of the theory of domino is inevitable to follow. No wonder, the market will be shaken by a price downslide of some key model of car produced by a solid-founded enterprise, with a drastic price down of RMB50000 for each car!  相似文献

South Africa has a long history of auto industry and a large auto ownership. "Heavy trucks and coaches made by some Chinese automakers are of high quality and competitive in price," said an official from the Embassy of South Africa in China. "If aided by sound distribution network and good after-sales service, Chinese auto would take hold in the commercial vehicles market in South Africa." He pointed out that in South Africa, many small business owners were engaged in small-scale freighting. Thus,  相似文献

Since its WTO Accession in 2001, China's national auto industry has made remarkable progress, especially in terms of export. However, some problems still exist. Importantly, the issues of overproduction and chaotic market competition need to be addressed. In the beginning of new year, five national Ministries including the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and China Customs have jointly drafted a document to regulate the auto export market; in the same vein, the NDRC has backed a document entitled Administrative Opinions on the Auto Industry, whose purpose is to address the issue of overproduction in the domestic auto industry. What is the significance of these two documents? What is their relationship? With these questions in mind, China's Foreign Trade interviewed Mr. Jia Xinguang, Auto Expert of China National Radio.
