入世是把双刃剑,给我国施工企业带来了什么?是困惑,还是进取?是机遇,还是挑战?施工企业未来市场前景和发展趋势如何?是悲观失望,是盲目乐观,还是前怕狼后怕虎?市场是大海,企业是航船,总经理是船长,职工是船员,用户是旅客,目标利润是航行的目的地。施工企业若要决战未来,就要运筹帷幄,居安思危,思则有备,有备则无患,无患则无敌。     

此罐非彼罐

近阶段,我能感受到一些商品的物价在悄悄地上涨,不过不大,这个涨了两毛,那个贵了三角,感觉看似无关痛痒,但聚沙成塔呀!那天,我跟几个朋友喝酒,我们喝酒的规矩是手把一,自己给自己倒酒,个人喝个人的。一圈下来,5瓶啤酒进肚,起身,还挺平稳,要是以前,我多少要有些晕的,今天啥事儿没有。

80年代,似乎是一个很有坐标性质的年代.那一年代生人,被人们冠以"80后",也许是特征太过于明显,或褒或贬掀起了舆论的浪潮:80年代的时尚,就是突如一夜春风来,红了姑娘的脸,绿了身上的装.80年代,或疯狂,或俗气,或夸张,或被唾弃,可是那又怎样,不管你喜不喜欢,2009年秋冬注定是属于80年代.     

妥协与坚持

风雪夜

The use and value of qualitative research studies

Qualitative research provides rich insights into many marketing problems and, with appropriate interpretation, will provide detailed solutions. This article describes the benefits of conducting qualitative research and cites its appropriateness to specific marketing questions. Examples of qualitative research and its application to marketing and business decisions are provided.     

A decade of neglect: reflecting on gender and IS

This paper presents the case that research on gender and information systems (IS), from both quantitative and qualitative traditions, is problematic as the concept of gender continues to remain under-theorised. This will be elaborated upon with a critique of some recent qualitative and quantitative research papers that have been published in key IS journals within a ten-year period.     

Quantifying value chain analysis in the context of livestock systems in developing countries

The analysis of value chains has augmented our knowledge on the complexities, inter-linkages, distributional benefits, and institutional arrangements of production and marketing channels in developing countries. However, the analysis remains relatively qualitative and case-specific, with limited ability to rank or assess the impact of alternative interventions or to analyze sufficiently the complex market dynamics and feedbacks present in livestock systems. This paper offers theoretical and applied insights on ways to improve the analytical rigor of the value chain methodology that combines both qualitative and quantitative approaches.     

The meeting place: Qualitative aspects of product environmental assessment

Quantitative methods for evaluating the environmental impact of products are receiving considerable attention. Software is being developed to enable analysis of many aspects of a product's life cycle—from materials' extraction, through manufacture, to use and disposal. Less attention is being paid to the qualitative aspects of products and their significance in addressing environmental concerns. Here, the argument is made for including qualitative evaluations as an important facet of product environment assessment. Such evaluations are essential if significant progress is to be made in alleviating the adverse environmental effects of products. Combined with quantitative analyses, the two approaches become mutually supportive and, ultimately, inseparable.Qualitative environmental assessments can be applied to existing products and at every stage of the design process. Their adoption within the context of professional practice will be fostered by their inclusion, formulation and discussion within design education. This paper describes the basis and nature of these qualitative judgments, and places the qualitative and quantitative in a unified context which points towards more sustainable ways of living. The use of scenarios is discussed as a tool for academic design projects in order to address the complex relationships which might otherwise seem overwhelming to the design student.     

Are rigor and transparency enough? Review and future directions for case studies in technology and innovation Management

It is crucial to assess how technology and innovation management (TIM) scholars use case-based research. Our study provides a theoretical systematic review of qualitative case-based articles published in 31 TIM journals from 2013 to 2018. Our analysis of 311 articles uncovers patterns regarding rigor (including case justification and selection), transparency (including data collection and analytical methods), and paradigmatic consistency and pluralism. Our findings show some evidence of emerging pluralism in how TIM researchers perform qualitative case studies, but also highlight some worrying trends: paradigmatic inconsistencies, lack of transparency, and over-reliance on specific approaches, all of which affect the value of case study research. We provide methodological guidelines for improving the use of qualitative case research in TIM.     

The Nature and Causes of Effective Human Resource Management

Abstract : Four models of the causes of effective human resource management were tested using a large sample of national health service (NHS) provider trusts and districts. The four models, labelled organizational integration, policy integration, functional integration and process integration, were operationalized and tested in a regression analysis against a range of qualitative and quantitative measures of HRM effectiveness. The results reveal little or no association between the qualitative and quantitative measures of effectiveness and show that the models are better at explaining qualitative effectiveness. The most strongly supported models are organizational integration, reflected particularly in the formalization by senior management of HRM policy, and process integration, reflected in the quality and efficiency of personnel service and support. There is little support for policy integration — the idea of a coherent policy focus — and none at all for functional integration, that is, the view that a personnel department generously staffed by professional specialists will enhance effectiveness. The theoretical and policy implications of these results are discussed.

通过分析目前项目评标过程中经常采用的几种方法，指出其中的弊端，针对需要改进的地方，提出了一种基于模糊数学的综合评价方法，根据模糊隶属度理论把定性评价转化为定量评价，解决了原有方法中定性与定量评价不能很好结合的问题，使评标方法在综合性、合理性、科学性等方面得到了改进。该模型除了适用于评价单个投标者的优劣，对多个投标方案进行择优选择外，同时在其他类似问题的评价中也有一定的推广价值。     

What makes a good case study? A positivist review of qualitative case research published in Industrial Marketing Management, 1971-2006

Business-to-business marketing research has a long tradition of using qualitative case studies. Industrial Marketing Management (IMM) has actively encouraged the use of case methods, resulting in many important theoretical advances in the field. However, debate still rages over what constitutes “good case research”. This article addresses this issue from a positivist standpoint. We examine the how authors address issues of quality in the 105 qualitative case studies published in IMM between 1971 and 2006. Four periods were identified: 1971-1979, 1980-1989, 1990-1999, and 2000-2006. Findings demonstrate that, from a positivist viewpoint, there has been a steady improvement in how authors addressed issues of research quality in published qualitative case studies. Suggestions for changes in data presentation, reviewer expectations, the IMM reviewer feedback form, and the use of web-based appendices containing data pertinent to reader judgments of research quality are suggested.
