海南省人力资本回报率的实证分析

基于Mincer模型对海南省2002-2003年的人力资本回报率进行了实证研究.海南省职工的工资收入与其受教育程度和工作年限有显著的相关关系;海南省的人力资本回报率、工资收入与人力资本的相关程度均低于中国平均水平,而且男性又低于女性;海南省劳动力市场明显地存在对女性的工资歧视、职业歧视和年龄歧视;中年男性和中、老年女性在劳动力市场中属于弱势群体.     

进口竞争缓解了制造业性别工资歧视吗

文章首次就进口竞争对我国制造业性别工资歧视的影响进行了理论分析和实证检验。理论模型表明,在同等条件下,企业主或经理人以牺牲部分利润为条件以满足其最优歧视性偏好;随着进口竞争加剧,降低了在位企业的定价能力和利润水平,使企业无法维持原来的歧视水平,因此必须降低歧视偏好、提高女性雇佣水平,进而引起劳动力市场上女性工人工资的提升。使用经典的Oaxaca工资分解法,以进口渗透率为进口竞争代理变量,在高低进口竞争样本上就两种工资基准分别进行分解,得到结果均表明,高进口竞争下的歧视系数显著低于低进口竞争下的歧视系数;进口竞争程度越高,性别工资歧视系数越低,表明进口竞争显著缓解了制造业性别工资歧视。本文认为,应进一步加大产品市场对外开放力度,持续推进国内劳动力市场一体化进程,以释放女性工人的市场价值和潜能、促进劳动力市场实现更为有效的资源配置,助力推进我国制造业实现转型升级。

女性在劳动力市场上遭受性别歧视已经成为社会关注的焦点之一。从职业门槛、收入差距、职业结构、职位晋升和职业培训几个方面列举女性在就业中受到的歧视现象,并且基于人力资本理论探讨就业中性别歧视现象出现的可能原因。     

从人力资本视角解读我国女性就业问题

我国女性人力资本存量远低于男性,且女性人力资本的折旧率明显高于男性,但我国女性人力资本投资具有较高的个人及社会收益率,且可持续性大于男性。针对女性就业难的问题,尤其是与男性相比在就业规模、就业结构、就业质量等方面长期处于劣势,应全面增加女性人力资本存量以稳定就业规模;深化利用女性人力资本收益率优势以优化就业结构;多渠道降低女性人力资本折旧率以提升就业质量,以解决我国女性人力资本投资与就业问题。

分析英语中存在的男性偏见现象

多年来,语言学家特别重视语言与性别的关系研究,并且对于英语中存在的女性歧视现象,已经做了大量的研究。语言学家一直将女性视为言语歧视的受害者,将其作为研究的焦点,但是却忽视了在英语中,也存在一定的男性偏见现象。在研究过程中,不能片面地将性别歧视局限于对女性的歧视,或者将对女性的歧视归咎于男性。在一定程度上,男性也是性别歧视的受害者。因此,本文将从男性用语角度分析英语中存在的男性偏见现象,并分析其产生的原因。     

中国的贸易开放与工资收入差距——来自微观数据的经验研究

文章运用CHIP1988、1995和2002年的数据,从工资收入的技能溢价和行业溢价方面考察了高技能与低技能劳动者之间的工资收入差距。结果表明:劳动力市场上的工资收入差距扩大,且与劳动者的受教育程度有关,工资收入的组间不平等主要来源于具有较高受教育程度的劳动者;对于较高学历的劳动者来说,工资收入技能溢价的增长还受到所处行业的影响,并且行业内高技能与低技能劳动者的工资收入差距是减小的,验证了传统国际贸易理论提出的贸易开放缩小发展中国家的工资收入差距。
