离岸金融市场的出现与发展有力地推动了世界经济的繁荣,从20世纪80年代起,全球金融越来越国家化、自由化,构建离岸金融市场如滚滚潮流般涌来。特别是在亚洲地区,很多国家纷纷设立了自己的离岸金融市场,这在很大程度上向东亚中心的中国发起了严峻的挑战。怎样构建离岸金融市场,打造国家化金融市场成为了中国金融改革的重点,上海是中国经济"领头羊",拥有雄厚的经济实力、优惠的政策支持等多方面的优势,建立和发展上海自贸区离岸金融市场是实现我国国家化金融市场的战略抉择。中央政府发文明确指出要将上海打造成为国际金融贸易中心,离岸金融是国际金融贸易中心的主要构成部分,它的构建和发展将对贸易中心起到强有力的促进作用。文章研究和探索了建立和发展上海离岸金融市场重大的现实意义及优势,并提出了上海自贸区离岸金融发展对策,希望能够为上海自贸区离岸金融的发展奠定理论基础。  相似文献

The existing literature on financialisation has devoted insufficient attention to how governments wield the market-based practices and technologies of financial innovation to pursue statecraft objectives. Because of this inattention, scholars have missed the opportunity to examine a crucial facet of the financialisation of the state. To remedy this limitation, the present article investigates how and why the Italian government designed derivatives-based strategies during the 1993–9 period. It argues that these tactics gained momentum in the context of the political struggles that developed in Italy beginning in the late 1980s. In particular, the study shows how a neoliberal-reformist alliance came to power and used financial innovation to comply with the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) admission criteria. EMU dynamics enhanced the power position of the neoliberal-reformist coalition vis-à-vis the country's traditional political and business establishment. This work offers insights that go beyond the specificities of the Italian case. It encourages further research on how governments in other countries simultaneously exposed state institutions to financial speculation and gained access to a range of new instruments through which they could manage state affairs in a financialised manner.  相似文献

在寿险业市场全面对外开放以及全球金融危机的双重压力下,我国寿险业正面临着如何提升效率、维持竞争力的严峻考验。研究表明,提高财务杠杆率、扩张市场占有率是提升寿险企业经营效率的重要途径。由于股权属性在不同资源投入效率上各具优势,且企业成立年数对企业效率没有显著影响,使国内寿险企业在对外竞争中并不处劣势。  相似文献

The contribution of foreign banks to the development of the financial sectors in emerging markets, and especially the transition economies of Central and Eastern Europe, is well-known. The purpose of this article is to focus on an area of foreign bank influence that has thus far only begun to emerge from the extant literature: the effect of foreign banks on the broader business environment in transition. In addition to improving financial intermediation and broader access to credit, has the presence of foreign financial institutions helped to shape a better business environment in the long-run? Or did foreign banks retard local institutional development and thus worsen the overall business environment? Using cointegration techniques across a sample of 21 diverse transition countries from 1983 to 2015, I find that foreign bank entry had a positive impact across business environment indicators, but with some indicators taking longer to influence than others. The policy implications are that business environments can be improved by facilitating foreign bank entry rather than restricting it.  相似文献

As a disruptive innovation, FinTech has posed risks in the financial industry that are more unidentifiable, sweeping, disruptive and influential. Given these new developments, deeper regulatory reform has become necessary to safeguard national financial security, and prevent and dissolve financial risks. On March 11, 2021, the 14th Five-Year Plan1 endorsed by the Fourth Session of the 13th National People’s Congress stressed that China will improve the modern financial regulatory system and shore up our weaknesses in the regulatory system, and boost the application of regulatory technology and financial innovation risk assessment. This marks that the establishment of a technology-driven financial regulatory framework has been put on the agenda. Based on an analysis of the essential implications and drivers of RegTech innovation, this paper discusses the theoretical logic of RegTech innovation. Technology enables intelligent regulatory processes, efficient information processing and robust risk control. The restructuring of the regulatory system has revealed shifts in regulatory paradigms. These include a shift from passive response to proactive change, a shift toward positive interactions between regulators and industry players, as well as more close coordination among regulators. These changes have resulted in more adaptable and efficient regulation. After summarizing foreign experience and Chinese practice, this paper presents optimal pathways for RegTech innovation in China in the following aspects: consolidating the rule-of-law foundation for RegTech innovation, speeding up institutional reforms, improving policy services, strengthening infrastructure development, and building multiparty cooperation mechanisms. This study serves as a reference for building a technology-centric modern financial regulatory system and a sound environment for FinTech development.  相似文献

美国次贷危机表明,混业经营的快速推进,增加了金融体系的风险传染性和脆弱性,并由此给全球金融业带来了巨大危害。因此,本文在回顾美、中两国商业银行经营模式变迁的基础上,分析了混业经营与次贷危机的关联性,认为应该重新思考我国商业银行的经营模式,维持分业经营的格局。  相似文献
