The liability of closeness: Business relatedness and foreign subsidiary performance

It is widely accepted that business relatedness, defined as the extent to which a foreign subsidiary is related to its parent's core business, has a positive effect on subsidiary performance. With a sample of 165 Japanese subsidiaries located in China, however, we found that modestly related subsidiaries, on average, outperformed both unrelated and closely related subsidiaries, and that closely related subsidiaries performed poorly especially when the parent had a heavy majority ownership in the subsidiary and the subsidiary was at its early stage of operating in the host market. Our results indicate that being too closely related to the parent could be potentially detrimental, suggesting a liability of closeness.     

积分媒介影响员工主要工作结果的纵向比较研究

组织内以激励为目的的积分其性质是具有少量交换价值的激励性媒介。员工根据自己的积分数量并基于组织积分奖励计划和兑换规则获得少量的物质和非物质回报。采用积分的目的是促使员工广泛参与组织的生产、技术和管理过程，提高组织运营效率。本文首先提出积分媒介对员工角色内绩效和角色外绩效影响的基本假设，并以上海三家工厂122名的员工为样本为研究对象，通过主管对这些员工实施积分一段时间前后的角色内和角色外绩效的对比评价检验了上述假设。结果表明，施以积分媒介能有效提升员工的任务绩效以及利他、责任担当和建言水平。

我国液态生物质燃料适度发展规模研究——宏观经济视角的分析

本文通过构建简单的总供给一总需求模型,分析石油数量调控政策、潜在产出水平与均衡价格上涨之间的数理逻辑关系,进而间接得到液态生物质燃料适度规模问题的一般分析框架,为进一步的定量分析打下坚实基础。研究结果表明:为达到潜在产出水平和一定的价格上涨水平,不同的现实条件要求政府实行不同的石油数量调控政策。     

供应链鲁棒性影响因素及度量研究

鉴于当今世界上的可以影响供应链功能的条件的剧烈变化,提高供应链的鲁棒性迫在眉睫。本文致力于给出供应链鲁棒性的具体定义和影响因素,将供应链鲁棒性具体化,以概率形式进行表达,给出在发生点失和链断条件下供应链鲁棒性的变化,并且对供应链的鲁棒性进行度量。

影响我国房地产市场的主要制度安排有五种：房地产住房供给和保障制度、房地产土地供给制度、房地产金融制度、房地产税收制度和存在于我国居民购房行为中的非正式制度。本文对这些制度安排的主要内容及其变迁做了分析，并研究了这些制度安排对我国房地产发展的影响。

Stability of international stock market relationships across month of the year and different holding intervals

Potential benefits from international diversification depend upon the stability in stock market relationships. Using monthly data of 11 international stock markets, this paper examines the stability in stock market relationships across month of the year and across different holding intervals. Empirical results show that the correlation structure is more stable than the covariance structure. While empirical evidence supports the hypothesis that the correlation structure is very stable across different holding intervals, the empirical support for the stability in correlation structure across month of the year is much weaker.
