解题中易错的一类物理问题的分析

解题是大学物理学习中的重要一环。学生解题出错并不可怕，关键是要重视、找出并认识产生错误的原因。解题出错的原因多种多样，但有一类错误具有一定的共性，这就是由于随意使用过去所学的一些物理经验知识而导致的错误，且这类错误学生自己往往还不容易发现。本文列举了与此类错误有关的若干例题，逐一加以具体的分析、说明，并提出了物理教师在《大学物理》教学中应重视运用的教学方法。

Modelling dependence using skew t copulas: Bayesian inference and applications

We construct a copula from the skew t distribution of Sahu et al. ( 2003 ). This copula can capture asymmetric and extreme dependence between variables, and is one of the few copulas that can do so and still be used in high dimensions effectively. However, it is difficult to estimate the copula model by maximum likelihood when the multivariate dimension is high, or when some or all of the marginal distributions are discrete‐valued, or when the parameters in the marginal distributions and copula are estimated jointly. We therefore propose a Bayesian approach that overcomes all these problems. The computations are undertaken using a Markov chain Monte Carlo simulation method which exploits the conditionally Gaussian representation of the skew t distribution. We employ the approach in two contemporary econometric studies. The first is the modelling of regional spot prices in the Australian electricity market. Here, we observe complex non‐Gaussian margins and nonlinear inter‐regional dependence. Accurate characterization of this dependence is important for the study of market integration and risk management purposes. The second is the modelling of ordinal exposure measures for 15 major websites. Dependence between websites is important when measuring the impact of multi‐site advertising campaigns. In both cases the skew t copula substantially outperforms symmetric elliptical copula alternatives, demonstrating that the skew t copula is a powerful modelling tool when coupled with Bayesian inference. 甘肃省域经济特征及其协调发展研究

促进区域经济社会协调发展是构建社会主义和谐社会的重点与难点问题之一。通过甘肃省域经济协调发展的评价指标体系和利用AHP(层次分析法)确定各指标权重,本文立足甘肃行政区划2005年的社会经济统计数据对其进行综合评价;同时,基于Between-groups L inkage分类法进行层次聚类分析,确定了甘肃经济发展的4个类型区,探讨了各类型区具有的特殊空间经济特征。作者认为,这种特殊空间经济特征是缩小甘肃省域经济差异,制定省域经济协调发展对策的理论依据和逻辑起点。

Affluent mature consumers: Preference and patronisation for financial services

Mature consumers have long been recognised as an important segment of market that no marketers of financial-service providers could ignore. The segment itself, however, is not homogeneous. Our study further segments the market basing on income and contrasts the differences between upscale mature consumers and lower scale ones in terms of their preference and patronisation for financial services. The study based on two large-scale studies designed to generate information that would fill gaps in our existing knowledge about upscale older consumers. Implications are discussed for marketers of financial services to fine-tune their differentiation strategies.
