Types of firms generating network externalities and MNCs' co‐location decisions

This study identifies and examines sources of network externalities that influence MNCs to agglomerate their foreign operations in specific regions. Using data for Korean firms that invested in China, this study found that network externalities were sensitive to the types of firms constituting a regional network. It also found stronger network externalities within firms than across firms, from firms of the same nationality than from those of different nationalities, and from firms in the same industry than from those of different industries. As we defined the types of firms more precisely, distinctive curvilinear relationships between network externalities and the likelihood of co‐location emerged. 房地产投资是区域经济的重要组成部分,将房地产投资与经济的协调发展和可持续发展观相结合,提出房地产投资的发展目标是实现房地产投资与区域经济的可持续协调发展。一方面,分析了房地产投资和区域经济发展之间的关系,探讨房地产投资对于经济增长的促进作用,以此来实现两者的协调发展;另一方面,将可持续发展观引入房地产投资,从生态持续、经济持续、社会持续3个方面分析了房地产投资对于区域可持续发展所施加的影响。     

The Free Cash Flow Anomaly Revisited: Finnish Evidence

Abstract:  This paper examines the performance of an investment strategy based on free cash flows using financial statement data of Finnish companies during the period 1992-2002. The analysis in this paper is motivated by the so-called free cash flow anomaly previously documented e.g. in Hackel, Livnat and Rai (2000) . Using annual financial statement information, we identify large-capitalization companies with positive free cash flows, low free cash flow multiples, and low financial leverage. Since a portfolio of these companies is found to consistently outperform the market index, our results suggest that the free cash flow anomaly also exists in the Finnish stock market.     

河北省投资体制改革存在的问题及对策

政府投资决策对国家经济发展速度和企业生产效益具有重要的现实影响和深远影响。对我省投资体制改革过程、现状和存在的问题等进行了分析，就发挥政府职能作用，探索有效途径，加强监督检查，深入推进投资体制改革提出了一些对策和建议。     

基于模糊数学的房地产投资决策研究

对于房地产投资决策问题，尝试用模糊聚类分析和模糊贴近度的方法解决房地产投资决策的问题，并且结合实例对两种方法应用的效果和不足进行了研究。结果表明，应用模糊数学方法能较好地解决房地产的投资决策问题。     

CLOSED-FORM SOLUTIONS FOR OPTIMAL PORTFOLIO SELECTION WITH STOCHASTIC INTEREST RATE AND INVESTMENT CONSTRAINTS

We examine the portfolio choice problem of an investor with constant relative risk aversion in a financial market with partially hedgeable interest rate risk. The individual shadow price of the portfolio constraint is characterized as the solution of a new backward equation involving Malliavin derivatives. A generalization of this equation is studied and solved in explicit form. This result, applied to our financial model, yields closed-form solutions for the shadow price and the optimal portfolio. The effects of parameters such as risk aversion, interest rate volatility, investment horizon, and tightness of the constraint are examined. Applications of our method to a monetary economy with inflation risk and to an international setting with currency risk are also provided.     

教育投资外溢与江苏经济增长:一项实证考察

文章借鉴菲德模型,在收集1992—2006年江苏省经济发展数据的基础上,对教育在江苏经济增长中的外溢作用进行了量化分析。由实证结果可知,教育对江苏经济增长的外溢作用是巨大的,研究结果同时表明江苏教育部门与经济中其他部门相比生产力较低。最后就提升江苏教育工作水平,进一步加大教育对经济增长的促进作用给出了几点建议。     

日本对华直接投资的发展变化及对策分析

随着中日关系及经济联系的发展变化，日本对华直接投资也呈不断波动的趋势。研究日本对华直接投资的变化规律将有助于我国更好地利用外资，加快经济发展的速度。     

优化大丰县产业结构提高投资综合效益

沿海滩涂在业资源开发是围绕以提高土地质量，增加产出，以不断满足人们日益增长着的物质生活需要为总体目标的开发战略。大丰县经过近２０多年来的实践作了有益的探索。本文在总结原有产业得失、利弊基础上，提出了优化产业结构组合，不断提高投资综合效益的构思。     

台商在闽农业直接投资对福建省农产品出口的影响分析

以FDI与国际贸易之间的关系理论为基础，对台商在福建省农业直接投资的状况进行论述，利用1997-2005年台商在福建省农业直接投资和福建省农产品的出口量的数据进行相关性分析，得出结论，台商在闽农业直接投资对福建省农产品的出口量的影响很小，但使福建省农产品出口的品种更加的多样化，也改变了农产品出口的产地结构。
