提高网络银行安全的思考与建议

网络交易的便利性吸引了众多的网民开通网上银行服务,但是网络银行的安全性却一直被网民所怀疑。网民在网络交易时往往会担心:网上银行到底安全吗?该怎样安全使用网银?本文根据作者平时使用习惯,分别从电脑系统安全、网址或产品选择以及个人网银使用三个方面来探讨如何提高网络银行安全。     

杠杆率指标在银行监管中的应用探讨

资本充足率指标在金融衍生产品被大量运用的情况下存在一定的失灵现象,监管部门需要配合运用其他指标联合监测银行机构的资本充足水平。杠杆率指标自身具有的一些特点使其适合成为资本充足率补充性指标,其运用可能对银行经营产生一定影响。为了提高杠杆率指标监管的有效性,可以通过尝试建立揭示不同资产风险特征的杠杆率指标体系,关注杠杆率监管的整体性、差异性、动态性和持续性等方式,对杠杆率监管进行完善。     

The geography of air freight: connections to U.S. metropolitan economies

Despite the rapid growth of air freight shipments, much of the existing literature on the geography of air transportation has paid more attention to passenger travel than air freight. The purpose of this paper is to elevate our understanding of air freight by determining which specific variables most influence and shape the geographic distribution of air freight by metropolitan area using stepwise regression analysis. The empirical results suggest a regression model of five independent variables was the most parsimonious solution where the final model accounted for 71.1% of the variation in air freight shipments by metropolitan area (MA). The most important predictor was the traffic shadow effect, where less populated MAs under the traffic shadow of larger MAs tended to generate lower levels of freight. The model also suggested that other key predictors included the employment market share in transportation-shipping-logistics industries, per capita personal income, the number of medical diagnostic and supplier establishments, and above average wages in high technology. Overall, metropolitan markets with diverse and efficient ground support systems, freight forwarders and other transportation services, a more affluent population, an intense agglomeration of medical laboratories and related suppliers, and a well paid skilled workforce engaged in computer systems design and electronic product manufacturing are more likely to ship freight by air.     

中国银行业市场化改革的五个阶段及特点

改革开放以来,中国经济社会转型不仅是中国银行业改革的大背景,也是银行制度市场化演进的推动力。与此相适应,中国银行制度受强制性制度变迁的影响不断缩小,而受市场主导下的诱致性制度变迁的影响不断扩大。银行体制、运行机制、市场结构的市场化变迁过程呈现五个不同的阶段性特点,经历了一个从计划经济体制下的银行制度到基本符合市场经济要求的现代银行制度转变的过程。     

我国银行体系改革的独特性

文章将我国银行体系改革纳入中国特色的渐进改革路径,分析了我国银行体系改革的独特性。文章认为,我国银行体系改革的独特性主要体现在以下七个方面：一是政府相机决策的结果;二是渐进改革成本的主要转移者;三是银行结构地区差距和存贷款差异明显;四是利率市场化严重不足;五是利息收入是银行收入的主要来源;六是银行同质性行为严重;七是表外业务的竞争并不充分。     

银行业:收益、股价及投资价值的比较分析

近年来,我国股票市场出现了一个奇异现象,即银行板块业绩优异,但其股价却严重偏离其价值。研究表明,出现这一奇特现象,不是因为该行业的股票盘子大,也不是因为政府融资平台和房地产泡沫等问题的存在导致该行业风险大,而是因为银行股波动性小,同时,也是因为相对来说我国上市公司中银行业经营管理规范、稳健,没有太多可炒作的题材,因此不受市场的投机性资金追捧。     

Social Capital and the Shadow Economy

Viewed in a wider context of paid and unpaid informal economic activities, the shadow economy highlights the little recognized ambivalence of social capital as both potentially positive and negative in outcomes for different groups in the economy. Using a concept of social capital as access to durable networks of actual and virtual resources, as claimed by Pierre Bourdieu, I examine the shadow economy as a source of both resilience and repression, intimately connected to the formal economy and tied to a neo-liberal agenda. I draw from review activities I have previously conducted on the informal economy in disadvantaged neighborhoods and from research on social capital in the economy in a European context.     

The Power of Stakeholders' Voice: The Effects of Social Media Activism on Stock Markets

Building on social movement theory, this study assesses the influence of social media activism on the stock market performance of targeted firms. We focus on information published on Twitter by two critical stakeholders: consumer associations and trade unions. To the extent that social media represent a valid medium to mobilize stakeholders' activism, protests on Twitter may damage firm reputation, leading to capital market reactions. Using a corpus of over 1.5 million tweets referring to Spanish listed banks, we study the impact of activism by looking at targeted firms' abnormal variations in price and trading volume. Our findings suggest that the Twitter activism of key stakeholders has a significant impact on investors' decisions. Further, our empirical analyses indicate that the mechanisms affecting investors' behavior differ depending on the characteristics of the stakeholder group. The Impact of House Prices on Consumer Credit: Evidence from an Internet Bank

This paper shows that house price fluctuations can have a significant impact on credit availability. Data from Prosper.com, a peer‐to‐peer lending site that matches borrowers and lenders to provide unsecured consumer loans, indicate that homeowners in states with declining house prices experience higher interest rates, greater credit rationing, and faster delinquency. We find especially large effects for subprime borrowers whose balance sheets are likely most exposed to asset price declines. This evidence suggests that asset price fluctuations can play an important role in determining credit conditions and are thus a potentially significant mechanism for propagating macroeconomic shocks.
