重庆企业“走出去”是市里一项长期坚定不移的发展战略,因此,必须对重庆市企业跨国投资的方式、区位、产业、主体因地制宜、高瞻远瞩地做出战略选择,只有这样,才能使重庆市企业在国际化经营战略中占领制高点,在经济一体化的国际大市场中占有自己的一席之地,分得自己的一杯羹,进而在激烈的国际市场竞争中,站稳脚跟、立于不败之地。     

Job congruence, academic achievement, and earnings

This study combines a widely held view of how earnings are related to education and job tenure (The Mincer model¹) with the notion that earnings are associated with the quality of an employer–employee job match. The quality of an individual's occupational choice is measured using job congruence, a commonly-used construct in the psychometric literature. Better-matched individuals should be more productive and, as a result, have higher earnings. Previous studies were unable to address the importance of job preferences to earnings because available data do not include both job congruence and individual earnings. The Alumni Outcomes Survey, recently produced by ACT Inc., is among the first data sets to include both variables. We use these data to estimate the importance of job congruence on earnings after controlling both for job tenure and for academic achievement, measured by an individual's ACT score. Results indicate that job congruence is positively correlated with earnings, and has effects on earnings that are of almost equal magnitude with years of education.

Modernizing times: UK hearing‐impaired consumers at the policy crossroads

Although there is now a long‐standing belief in the UK that free consumer choice improves market efficiency, the supply of some consumer products and services remained controlled by the state. In the interests of consumers, it regards as vulnerable to misdirection and malpractice or unlikely to have the technical expertise to make informed decisions. Historically, the supply of hearings aids has been restricted to the National Health Service and specific licensed practitioners in the independent sector. Recent changes to both product and service provision have brought about a radical alteration to this situation, and to the framework of control. This case study of a changing healthcare system demonstrates more generally the difficulties experienced by people trying to improve or maintain auditory functions for speech communication. Access to appropriate technological solutions may be precluded by cost, distribution arrangements or lack of knowledge. Overarching these difficulties, regional health policy variations within the UK mean that consumer experiences vary according to where they live. Consumer influence over the direction and scope of changes to the hearing aid market is limited despite the rhetoric of choice. This article examines the emerging ‘liberalized’ market and its contradictions.

目前关于中国区域经济发展差距的研究主要归因于某种具体的因素,注重从要素投入或者某些外在影响因素去分析。本文以新制度经济学为分析框架,从转型中对经济发展起决定作用的市场主体的角度考察不同主体的发展战略和行为选择对经济发展的影响。国家发展战略的不同、区域历史禀赋和自然禀赋的差异、地方政府官员的异质性以及这些因素的不同组合构成了区域间的巨大发展差异。

会计政策选择是财务会计研究的重要内容。目前会计政策选择研究主要集中在上市公司的会计政策选择，采用规范研究、实证研究的方法对会计政策选择的原因、影响因素、动机、经济后果等进行研究。本文主要对国内外会计政策选择研究状况进行述评，以期为会计政策选择研究提供参考。

社会保障制度是保障城镇化健康稳定发展的核心制度。如何在中国建立起一个可持续的社会保障制度体系,满足不同社会群体对社会保障制度的需求,既能有效地解决农民工在当前城市发展中遇到的紧迫问题,又能在稳定的条件下加速城镇化进程,明确农民工社会养老保险制度本身的特殊性及其实施的途径是非常关键的。     

Would You Choose Your Preferred Option? Comparing Choice and Recoded Ranking Experiments

Previous research has shown that results from a choice experiment are statistically different from those obtained from a ranking experiment that is recoded and treated as a choice experiment using only the first rank. By avoiding some of the shortcomings of previous comparisons, we obtain the opposite results using data from the valuation of a cork oak reforestation program in the south of Spain. Structural models and welfare estimations are statistically indistinguishable irrespective of the use of parametric or bootstrapping tests. Further, we employ follow-up questions and subsample analysis to test whether divergences appear when potential effects are isolated.     

ESTIMATION OF PROBABILITY MODELS FROM INCOME CLASS DATA

Abstract. Many household surveys report income by a limited number of classes only. In Engel curve analyses of such data, income is usually equated to the class midpoint. We argue that it is better to specify a continuous income distribution over the entire range, and to estimate its parameters jointly with the Engel curve coefficients; the position of the dependent variable within income classes is sufficiently informative about the income distribution parameters. The method is illustrated for a simple logit model of automobile ownership. The effect on estimation is perceptible, but not impressive; further analysis suggests that the standard method is acceptable provided some care is taken over the income class limits at the lower end of the range.     

涉入程度、时间压力与广告信息对银行潜在客户的说服力

本研究以顾客区隔与时间压力的观点来检视商业银行广告信息框架效果的说服力。本研究结果指出，当面对具有高涉入程度的银行潜在顾客，且广告中的优惠信息是具有时间性的情况下，正面框架的信息会比负面框架的信息更有说服力，然而，如果广告中的优惠信息并不具有时间性，对于这些高涉入程度的银行潜在顾客，负面框架的信息会比正面框架的信息更有说服力。相对地，不论是使用正面框架或是负面框架信息，也不论广告中的优惠信息是否具有时间性，都不会对那些涉入程度低的银行潜在客户产生说服力。
