Cash Marketing Styles and Performance Persistence

Much agricultural economics research has been dedicated to determining the best time for producers to sell their commodities. Unlike this past research, we look at how producers actually sell commodities. The extent to which producers display an active or mechanical marketing style is measured using individual farmer sales. The activeness of a producer's marketing strategy is measured by how much the timing of their strategy varies from year to year. Results show no relationship between activeness and net prices received. Furthermore, the results show no evidence of performance persistence by individual producers.

通过介绍当前空间数据库管理系统的应用现状,对当前常见的几种数据管理方式,如混合型数据管理方式、集成型数据管理方式进行分析,比较其各自的特点.在此基础上,针对耕地资源信息系统的实际情况,提出了采用二进制方式对空间数据进行组织存储,而采用标示码的方式将空间数据和属性数据进行连接.     

国产引进型300MW汽轮机通流部分改造及效益分析

分析了国产引进型300MW双缸双排汽凝汽式汽轮机热耗率大、经济性差的原因。采用全三维技术对汽轮机高中压通流部分进行改造,设计使用了先进的子午收缩型调节级和弯扭马刀叶片,有效提高了机组的经济性和可靠性。该技术在江西丰城发电厂4×300MW机组上的应用经验,可为其他同类机组增容降耗改造提供借鉴。

随着智能电网时代的到来,世界各国电力系统正在从传统型向现代型转变,而储能技术的应用将成为这场变革的重要环节。对新型储能电池的技术经济特性和发展应用现状进行了介绍,构建了电池储能技术综合评价指标体系,针对储能技术在不同领域的具体应用进行了综合评价,分析了新型储能技术的发展前景并提出了相关建议,以期为政府主管部门、能源电力企业、产业界及行业专家提供参考。     

无线传感网在库存管理中的应用研究

现阶段在我国的多数地方,库存管理仍然存在人工填单、人工记账等较落后的人工管理方式,为此提出了无线传感网在库存管理中的应用研究。介绍了无线传感网的优点,分析了库存管理的需求情况,设计了无线传感网在库存管理中的硬件结构、软件测试平台与实时查询过程,同时提出了无线传感网应用中应注重的安全措施。     

基于RFID的化工类产品仓储高效管理与实时安全监控的无线网络化综合系统研究

基于RFID技术、多类型监测(温度,湿度及各种类型的腐蚀性、爆炸性、有毒有害气体浓度的监测)集成传感器技术、无线及网络化通讯技术和计算机软硬件技术、管理技术,将它们有机整合实现对储存中化工产品的自动化高效管理与多安全性指标的实时监控,并能通过无线网络在全球范围内实时监管和查询。实现了对化工产品的出/入库自动控制、产品存放位置的精确快速确定及数量的精确快速统计和信息的快速查询。     

Market intermediaries,storage and policy reforms

Intermediaries play a crucial role in the functioning of agricultural and food markets in developing countries through linking production, imports and storage with consumption. We analyse how competition in the intermediary sector and alternative forms of intermediaries determine the incentives for storage and market outcomes more generally. We apply this framework to the Egyptian wheat sector as an illustrative case study, a country where food security is a priority, where both forms of intermediaries co-exist and undertake storage but where issues of reforms to the role of intermediaries have been raised. Through stochastic simulation, we analyse two changes in government policy: first, the effects of changing the policy instruments with both types of intermediaries undertaking storage; second, relating to market reforms where the private sector replaces the storage function of the parastatal. These issues have wider significance for addressing the interaction between food security and a wide range of policy reforms including de-regulation of parastatals in developing countries.
