基于模糊理论的缺陷检出可靠度模型

分析了缺陷无损检测可靠性的度量问题,通过大量试验数据拟合出缺陷检出率隶属度函数,构建了缺陷检出可靠度的模糊数学模型,最后对飞机机翼大梁螺栓孔退役机件的裂纹长度进行磁粉探测和JFY-1A仪器检测,采用该模型分别计算了两种检测方法在缺陷尺寸临界区间的裂纹检出可靠度,并以金相法检测结果为标准进行对比,验证了模型的有效性。

The Philosophical Model of the Relation between Reliability and Relevance of Accounting Information

The finance is the substantial category; the accounting is the conscious category. Philosophical meaning of reliability is the characteristic embodied in the course that ideological accounting reflects the objective reality： finance. Philosophical meaning of relevance is the relation and degree of restricting, interdepending, influencing each other, interaction between ideological accounting and decision-making in the course of decision. Reliability is a foundation of the relevance, relevance is the embodiment of the reliability, they set against, unify again.

The life-length of banknotes*

Abstract With the aid of the Bank's banknote sorting system the issue and subsequent withdrawal of f 25–banknotes on three varieties of paper have been recorded for two-and-a-half years. The aim was to measure the durability of the three paper varieties in circulation. The results of this second trial with f 25–banknotes confirm the statistical model developed previously for the first trial with f 100–banknotes. GRESHAM's Law is equally not applicable, neither to f 25–banknotes nor to f 100–banknotes. A two-parameter gamma distribution fits the cumulative fraction of banknotes withdrawn reasonably well.     

Market Reaction to Multiple Contemporaneous Earnings Signals: Earnings Announcements and Future Earnings Guidance

We examine market reactions to contemporaneous announcements of current earnings and future earnings guidance for evidence on how investors trade off relevance and reliability. Current earnings are more reliable than future earnings guidance, but future earnings guidance may be more relevant for predicting future performance. We find that current earnings are more strongly associated with announcement-period returns than concurrently disclosed future earnings guidance, consistent with investors’ relative preference for reliability. We find similar return reactions to stand-alone earnings and to earnings released with guidance. In contrast, return reactions are lower for guidance announced simultaneously with current earnings than for stand-alone guidance.

Estimating effects of cooperative membership on farmers’ safe production behaviors: Evidence from pig sector in China

This research studies the determinants of pig farmers’ participation in farmers’ cooperatives and the effects of farmers’ cooperatives on pig farmers’ behaviors in adopting safe production practices using data from a household survey of 540 cooperative farmers and 270 non-cooperative farmers from four main pig production provinces in China. The propensity score matching (PSM) method was adopted to deal with possible self-selection bias associated with farmers’ participation in farmers’ cooperatives due to observables, which is further supplemented by a sensitivity analysis to assess the degree to which the PSM results are robust to the presence of unobservables. The PSM results show that the cooperative membership has significant and positive influence on farmers’ propensity to adopt safe production practices and the effects are heterogeneous across a number of key cooperative, farm and household attributes. Specifically, the membership effects tend to be bigger for cooperatives led by Investor-owned firms (IOFs) and farms of small production scale. And the effects tend to be greater for households (1) of medium and high level of education, (2) of less than 10 years of pig production experience, (3) of no off-farm job experience, and (4) that are specialized in pig production. The sensitivity analysis further increases our confidence in the results for the feed use and the breed use, however, the results for vaccination, drug use and waste disposable are more sensitive to the influence of unobservables, therefore should be interpreted with caution.
