Futures beyond dystopia

The speculative imagination is an higher-order human capacity that can productively explore the not-here and the not-yet. To some extent it is already doing so. But these explorations are limited by prevailing cultural assumptions. The purpose of this paper is to suggest that there are other arenas to explore that, were they taken seriously, could exert sufficient symbolic ‘pull' to qualify as desirable images of futures. They could then begin to act as ‘magnets' for the realisation of possibilities that are presently obscured.

通过分析新中国成立以来农业土地制度,经营制度,组织制度变化对农业技术变化的影响,研究了农业制度变迁与技术变化的相互关系,认定制度变迁与技术变化以促进经济增长具有重要变化。     

Exploring the elements of consumer nostalgia in retailing: Evidence from a content analysis of retailer collages

This article focuses on consumer nostalgia in the retailing environment to identify the types of nostalgic memories evoked by remembering a retailer and the elements associated with such nostalgic memories. A projective technique involving collage construction enabled informants to reflect their feelings about, memories of, experiences with, or relationships with a retailer that they have selected. The findings uncovered three distinct types of retailer-related consumer nostalgic memories and six elements that comprise retailer-related consumer nostalgic memories. The findings of the study offer a comprehensive understanding of retailer consumer nostalgia. Theoretical and managerial implications are discussed.

西方产业组织学作为现代经济学的一个重要组成部分,有其稳定的分析框架和研究方法。本文从研究方法角度对其进行了梳理,分析了推理学派与实证学派各自研究方法的最新进展,研究表明:在推理学派中,其静态模型已普遍使用了推测变差方法,而其动态博弈模型已成为主流推导方法;在实证学派中,非参数检验、非线性回归以及实验经济学的广泛使用是其新特点。

Dress for success: the effect of exhibitors’ dress conformity and self-construal on attendees’ approach behavior

ABSTRACT

The purpose of the current study is to investigate how attendees’ approach behavior is influenced by exhibitors’ dress conformity. A 2 × 2 between-subjects quasi-experimental design was utilized for this study. Our results showed that conforming dress for exhibitors can lead to a higher level of approach behavior of trade show attendees as compared with nonconforming dress, and the effect of exhibitors’ dress styles on approach behavior is moderated by attendees’ self-construal. Findings of this study provide significant insights for trade show exhibitors and attendees.

中国信息技术产业发展的模式与技术政策

中国信息产业生产能力的膨胀,并不意味着其技术能力的同比例地成长。目前中国特别是长三角和珠三角地区所拥有的信息产业的巨大生产能力,大部分是由FDI企业加工贸易的贡献。为了弥补外资技术与本土技术发展之间的巨大鸿沟,中国信息技术产业除了要继续在对外合作中学习和获得技术外,应该重视中国本土企业的技术发展能力,把以OEM为主的国际关联技术升级模式逐步上升为本土企业技术创新驱动和品牌驱动的双重模式。为此中国政府应该及时调整相关的外资政策和技术发展战略。     

论企业与自然关系协调中的技术选择

人们在检讨工业文明带给人类的后果时,对工业文明的技术的缺陷进行深刻认知。并非是所有的基于当代科学而产生的技术都可以满足可持续发展的需要。为实现人类社会的可持续发展,在实践中,必须对不断涌现的技术进行有标准的选择。我们把经过选择的技术称为“恰当技术”,“恰当技术”的采用展示了可持续发展的美好前景。
