作为正式化程度最高的一种文体,法律英语在词汇方面有它自身的特点,如措词准确和古体词、名词化结构和词语重复结构的使用等。因此在进行法律文件的汉译英翻译活动中,译者应当尽量地使译文词汇具有上述特点以实现"信"、"达"、"雅"。文章从这些特点出发,对2008年北大法学院翻译的《中华人民共和国物权法》中的一些译文进行分析,指出不恰当之处,提出修改建议。  相似文献

传统汉语语法对词的分类方法是从印欧语系语法体系直接引进而来,然而汉语自身所具有的音系、语词、句法结构特征都明显地区别于印欧语系,致使汉语语法对词的分类不能"恰当"地切合汉语语料分析,并造成汉语的词性分类与词的句法功能"两张皮"。这也长期困扰着中国菜名的语词研究。从功能对等理论来分析,由于英汉两种语言在语词与句法结构方面存在明显的差异,在中国菜名的翻译中出现了大量的"过译"现象。"过译"并不一定是真正的"过度"翻译,而是因英语与汉语语词与句法结构不同而形成的不同的表达方式,因此要区别对待。  相似文献

Although a significant body of research has investigated the independent effects of distinct types of slack resources, current theoretical and empirical work does not sufficiently clarify how bundles of slack resources affect firm outcomes. Drawing on the resource constraints literature and the slack literature, we investigate how distinct bundles of financial and human resource slack influence firm performance and survival. Using a sample of 4715 European information and communication technology firms, we show that neither parallel resource abundance (having slack in financial and human resources) nor parallel resource constraints (lacking slack in financial and human resources) are optimal for firm performance and survival. However, firms with selective constraints that combine slack in financial resources with constraints in human resources exhibit superior performance without decreased survival prospects. Taken together, this study extends current research by providing a more nuanced view of the relationships between slack resources, firm performance, and firm survival.  相似文献

This article considers the way in which new HR systems were designed for three power stations within Ireland. The study provides insights into how choices are made about which practices are included in or excluded from the HR bundle and considers the factors that can lead to or prevent the successful implementation of new HR systems. The research suggests that all HR practices are not necessarily of equal importance in the bundle that comprises an HR system. Instead, it may be useful to view such a system as comprising both core and ancillary HR practices and as dependent on the existence of appropriate HR processes if it is to operate successfully. In addition, the study suggests that new HR systems may fail because insufficient attention is paid to the impact of ‘deadly combinations’ (Becker et al., 1997 Becker, B., Huselid, M., Pickus, P. and Spratt, M. 1997. Most prior research on bundling from a consumer perspective has focused on how bundles are processed, particularly from a prospect theory or mental accounting perspective. In contrast, relatively little research has examined the factors that might drive consumer preference for bundles versus individual items. This article addresses one such factor: the potential to reduce search and assembly costs. Through exploratory interviews and two laboratory experiments, the authors show that preference for a bundle is greater when bundle choice will reduce search effort than when it will not, particularly among consumers who are less motivated to process information. 在企业前后期项目投资之间存在互补性关系时,可将具有互补性投资特点的前后期项目看作是一个投资包,构建投资包资本预算模型,从整体角度考察企业的投资决策。以净现值为决策指标,构造关联性项目未来收益现值的关联系数变量,假定该关联系数变量服从正态分布,给出互补性项目投资包的资本预算模型,以辅助企业进行多期互补性项目的投资决策。  相似文献
