Mental mapping and heritage visitors’ spatial perceptions

Visitors’ activities tend to be spatially oriented in destinations. Mental mapping is a useful method for revealing how visitors spatially perceive tourism destinations. However, studies of this kind are under-researched in the tourism field. Therefore, this study investigates the ways in which visitors spatially perceive the World Heritage Sites (WHSs) of Macau through the use of mental maps drawn by a sample of 400 respondents. Comparisons of the mental maps revealed that respondents possessed a relatively limited spatial knowledge of the WHSs, and this recognition varied according to the gender, place of origin, travel mode, type of trip, social interaction with local people and length of stay. While the real-life world of visitors was identified by the mental mapping approach, some suggestions for formulating strategies are provided.     

Logarithmic calibration for multiplicative distortion measurement errors regression models

In this article, we propose a new identifiability condition by using the logarithmic calibration for the distortion measurement error models, where neither the response variable nor the covariates can be directly observed but are measured with multiplicative measurement errors. Under the logarithmic calibration, the direct-plug-in estimators of parameters and empirical likelihood based confidence intervals are proposed, and we studied the asymptotic properties of the proposed estimators. For the hypothesis testing of parameter, a restricted estimator under the null hypothesis and a test statistic are proposed. The asymptotic properties for the restricted estimator and test statistic are established. Simulation studies demonstrate the performance of the proposed procedure and a real example is analyzed to illustrate its practical usage.     

扩频系统最佳失真度量化及载噪比评估方法

扩频系统接收机模拟中频信号的量化会带来信噪比损失，在一定程度上影响扩频系统的抗干扰性。为提升接收机输入端量化信噪比，针对服从高斯分布的噪声且低信噪比的接收机模拟中频信号，提出一种自适应功率的模拟中频信号的“最佳失真度量化方法”。首先分析数模转换器的特性划定量化门限，然后依照输入信号的统计特性，设计出最佳功率的计算方法，并提出新的评价指标“载噪比”，可以在捕获前预先衡量量化损失。通过仿真计算了“最佳失真度量化方法”的载噪比，并与 “传统法”进行对比。实现结果表明，所提方法的载噪比相对于“传统法”的均值提升0.27 dBHz。     

企业对外投资行为能否改善我国要素市场扭曲:理论分析与机制检验

采用2000~2009年的微观企业数据构建动态计量模型，通过两步系统GMM方法检验企业对外投资行为对要素市场扭曲的影响效应，研究发现，企业对外投资行为有效降低了我国要素市场扭曲程度，提升了市场要素资源的利用效率。市场要素分解检验、IV-2SLS估计及样本期分段检验的结果依然稳健。进一步通过中介效应模型检验对外投资行为对要素市场扭曲的作用机制，发现企业对外投资行为主要通过加速"去过剩产能"和边际产业转移、提升国内企业生产率三条途径来化解我国要素市场扭曲困境。企业大规模"走出去"可以有效化解过剩产能和"反哺"国内市场，这是当前我国新一轮改革开放寻求新经济增长点的动因所在。     

地理集聚会优化商业信用环境吗？——来自浙江地级市的证据

以浙江案例为样本,运用空间计量法系统探讨地理集聚对商业信用环境影响。研究证实:(1)地理集聚对商业信用环境优化具有显著促进作用,产出集聚影响超过资本和就业集聚;(2)沿海地区由熟人社会向陌生人社会转变,伴随商业信用环境逐渐优化,非沿海地区信用环境对经济形势及资本特征较为敏感;(3)副省级城市制度门槛对地理集聚造成一定扭曲,显著降低商业信用环境;(4)资本集聚和就业集聚显著提高信用示范城市商业信用环境。
