Vehicle currency pricing and its positive welfare consequences under optimal monetary policy

Using a two-country general equilibrium model, this paper analytically derives the possibility of positive welfare consequences of vehicle currency use in invoicing international trades. Such vehicle currency use is prominent in the data. The literature points out welfare loss under optimal monetary policy due to vehicle currency pricing relative to the flexible price equilibrium outcome, modeling only tradable goods. By introducing nontradable goods and their sector-specific productivity shocks, this paper provides a closed-form condition under which one country's welfare is higher under optimal monetary policy if its exports are invoiced with the other country's currency than if invoiced with its own currency, given that the other country's exports are invoiced with the producer's currency. That is, this paper derives a condition under which vehicle currency pricing is preferred by the nonvehicle currency country to producer currency pricing.     

The view from above: the relevance of shared aerial drone videos for destination marketing

ABSTRACT

The use of drones to produce videos has generated a large amount of visually appealing footage of various destinations. They attract much attention, but there are issues that affect their production, and their relevance to destination marketing. This research examines YouTube meta-data and spatial overlay analysis of shared aerial drone videos from the United Kingdom (UK). The results suggest that shared aerial drone videos have some unique user-generated content (UGC) characteristics and their spatial distribution tends to favor more populated areas. Theoretical and practical implications for destination marketing are further discussed.     

The benefit of advance load information for truckload carriers

This paper models and measures the profit improvement trucking companies can achieve by collaborating with their clients to obtain advance load information (ALI). The main approach is to formulate a comprehensive and flexible mixed integer mathematical model and implement it in a dynamic rolling horizon context. The findings illustrate that access to the second and the third day ALI can improve the profit by averages of 22% and 6%, respectively. We also found that the impact of ALI depends on radius of service and trip length but is statistically independent of load density and fleet size.

中小企业是市场经济的重要组成部分,是经济发展的最重要的驱动力量。本文分析了由于我国目前中小企业发展过程中存在融资难的问题而需要资产证券化的必要性,认为可以通过创造良好的外部环境和整合优化中小企业自身内部资源,进行资产证券化。     

我国资产证券化结构中SPV的法律构建问题

文章回顾了我国资产证券化发展不足的历史及原因,分析了我国资产证券化结构中SPV构建的法律问题,即现行的《公司法》、《合同法》、《担保法》等与SPV的构建都存在障碍。提出我国资产证券化结构中SPV的模式选择：第一,利用国有公司的公信力,发挥社会主义的优越性,以四大资产管理公司承担公司型SPV的职能。第二,依据现行《信托法》,以信托机制构建SPV的模式进行资产证券化。建议在借鉴国外经验的基础上,以保护投资者利益为原则制订我国的《资产证券化法》,推动资产证券化全面发展。     

车辆管理系统在气象技术装备保障中的应用

通过在气象技术装备保障中实践使用普瑞车辆管理系统，总结该系统管理的优点和不足及其在气象技术装备保障工作中所发挥的积极性作用。     

基于约束规划求解车辆调度问题

在约束规划基础上,结合启发式方法,提出了一个求解集送货问题的新思路,并给出了具体的带有时间窗的集送货一体化问题的算例,求出了较高质量的满意解。     

单车场大规模车辆路径优化问题研究

针对传统优化技术在解决大规模车辆路径问题中存在的缺陷,提出了一种解决单车场大规模车辆路径优化问题的综合启发式算法。首先,采用Sweep技术将区域分解成几个子区。其次,设计了分区的禁忌搜索算法,并采用相邻区域综合优化技术,提高了算法的全局搜索能力。仿真试验表明,该算法能够有效解决大规模车辆路径优化问题。     

自动引导车路径追踪控制器控制效果的MATLAB仿真

介绍了以MATLAB6.5为平台,对不同起始误差条件下自动引导车(AGV)的路径追踪控制器的控制效果仿真。仿真结果证明经过一段时间由路径追踪控制器的速度和角速度的补偿可以消除3个追踪误差量,使自动引导车具有准确跟随路径的能力。
