黑果枸杞营养成分及其开发利用研究

本文从有效成分、生物学功能和产品3个方面介绍了黑果枸杞的价值.经过研究发现黑果枸杞的主要营养成分是花青素、黄酮、氨基酸、维生素、黄酮和甜菜碱等.这些有效成分赋予黑果枸杞显著的抗氧化功能、降血脂作用、降血糖功效以及抗癌作用,使黑果枸杞在当今健康养生的背景下,有望成为新型功能性保健产品.     

Urban Laboratories: Experiments in Reworking Cities

The notion of the ‘urban laboratory’ is increasingly striking a chord with actors involved in urban change. Is this term simply a metaphor for urban development or does it suggest urbanization by substantially different means? To answer this question, we review the work of science and technology studies (STS) scholars who have empirically investigated laboratories and practices of experimentation over the past three decades to understand the significance of these spaces of experimentation in urban contexts. Based on this overview of laboratory studies, we argue that urban laboratories and experimentation involve three key achievements — situatedness, change‐orientation and contingency — that are useful for evaluating and critiquing those practices that claim to be urban laboratories. We conclude by considering some future directions of research on urban laboratories.     

The hunt for S-shaped growth paths in technological innovation: a patent study*

Since the works by the business cycle theorists in the 1930s, no attempts have been made to study empirically the long term evolution paths of individual technologies starting with long time series. This is an empirical exploration and confirmation of the now almost assumed image or metaphor of the way technology develops; that it follows an S-shaped growth path which is commonly associated with a similar shaped diffusion function of entrepreneurial activity. The paper also confirms the diversity of technology dynamics and explores how technological cycle takeoffs appear to be clustered within certain historical epochs. The results have implications for our understanding of the evolution paths of individual technologies, and of the evolution of technological systems and waves of innovation. By use of computational statistics, logistic growth functions are fitted to US patent stocks, 1920–1990, at a detailed level of aggregation, including chemical, electrical/electronic, mechanical, transport and non-industrial technologies. Some practical considerations when developing an empirically testable model of innovation cycles are addressed in the paper as well.

Addiction – and rational choice theory

Becker and Murphy's theory is a well‐known contribution to economists on the discussion of addiction. This class of rational choice theory is still the most important reference for economists studying addiction. In this paper, the model and the economist's rational choice theory were challenged by modern neurobiological theory. The paper suggested reconstruction work of the standard inter‐temporal choice model along four lines to reduce the gap between the theory and the clinical definition of addiction: (1) a discount rate that varies; (2) revision of the concept consumption capital; (3) the possibility for genetic predisposition to addiction (even if the research up to now has not identified such a gene); and (4) social mechanisms that influence our behaviour.

Drivers for the voluntary adoption of consolidated financial statements in local governments

ABSTRACT

This paper investigates consolidated financial statements (CFS), which have been implemented by several countries. In Italy, CFS implementation was preceded by a testing period in which local governments could participate on a voluntary basis. This paper explains why this was a useful preliminary step to implementing CFS: the local governments that took part in the testing period were able to enhance their knowledge of the topic while improving their employees’ skills.
