跨国零售集团在华采购给"中国制造"带来的机遇和挑战

本文认为,跨国零售集团是当今世界商品流通的主渠道,其在华采购能够带动我国产品进入全球市场,减少生产盲目性,更有效地宣传“中国制造”的品牌,减少出口环节,降低销售成本,提高经营管理水平,但同时在对供应商的选择、采购产品的要求、企业供货能力和配送能力以及供应商有关认证的要求上也提出了更高的要求,沟通不足成为制约采购力度的根本原因。文章提出,为促进跨国零售集团加大在华采购力度,应加强质量管理,提供完善服务,开发时尚新颖的产品,加快通过标准认证,熟悉跨国零售集团采购规则并与之建立战略联盟关系,借助和依托中间商进入跨国零售集团采购筐。     

Optimal interest rate stabilization in a basic sticky-price model

This paper studies optimal monetary policy with the nominal interest rate as the single policy instrument. Firms set prices in a staggered way without indexation and real money balances contribute separately to households’ utility. The optimal deterministic steady state under commitment is the Friedman rule—even if the importance assigned to the utility of money is small relative to consumption and leisure. We approximate the model around the optimal steady state as the long-run policy target. Optimal monetary policy is characterized by stabilization of the nominal interest rate instead of inflation stabilization as the predominant principle.     

The implications of unverifiable fair-value accounting: Evidence from the political economy of goodwill accounting

I study the evolution of SFAS 142, which uses unverifiable fair-value estimates to account for acquired goodwill. I find evidence consistent with the FASB issuing SFAS 142 in response to political pressure over its proposal to abolish pooling accounting. The result is interesting given this proposal was due in part to SEC concerns over pooling misuse. I also find evidence consistent with lobbying support for SFAS 142 increasing in firms’ discretion under the standard. Agency theory predicts such unverifiable discretion can be used opportunistically.     

矿渣粉掺量及养护条件对地聚合物混凝土的影响

以粉煤灰和矿渣粉为原材料制备地聚合物混凝土,研究矿渣粉掺量和不同配比碱激发剂对于地聚合物混凝土坍落度、凝结时间及抗压强度的影响;并且通过3种不同的养护方式,探究养护温度及湿度对于地聚合物混凝土表观性状和力学性能的影响。研究结果表明：随矿渣粉掺量的提高,地聚合物混凝土强度增加,而凝结时间大幅度缩短;提高碱激发剂中水玻璃的掺量将降低混凝土的坍落度和凝结时间,而抗压强度呈先增大后减小的趋势;提高养护的湿度可有效地抑制地聚合物的泛碱现象,并取得较高的后期强度;提高养护温度可使地聚合物取得较高的早期强度,但后期强度增长缓慢。研究表明当矿渣粉掺量为胶材的30%,碱激发剂中水玻璃与氢氧化钠溶液的比值为1.5：1时,可制备在常温下即可硬化并取得较高强度的地聚合物混凝土。     

Reprint of “Planning in feasible region by two-stage target-setting DEA methods: An application in green supply chain management of public transportation service providers”

To meet green supply chain management’s requirements of a company and its transportation service providers (TSPs), it is essential to set clear, achievable, and realistic targets. This paper proposes two data envelopment analysis (DEA) approaches to find targets for two-stage network structures. The objective of proposed approaches is to plan in feasible region. The feasible region specifies bounds to ensure targets are within current operational capacity of TSPs. Applying the approaches to set targets for 24 TSPs lead to different results. However, proposed models ensure that the TSPs would be efficient in their current capacity.     

Exploring strategic priorities for regional agricultural R&D investments in East and Central Africa

The 11 countries of East and Central Africa have diverse but overlapping agroclimatic conditions, and could potentially benefit from spillovers of agricultural technology across country borders. This article uses high‐resolution spatial data on actual and potential yields for 15 major products across 12 development domains to estimate the total benefits available from the spread of new agricultural technologies around the region. Market responses and welfare gains are estimated using the Dynamic Research Evaluation for Management model, taking account of current and future projections of local and international demand. Results suggest which crops, countries, and agroclimatic regions offer the largest total benefits. Downloadable data and program files permit different assumptions and additional information to be considered in the ongoing process of strategic priority setting.     

On the Effects of Suggested Prices in Gasoline Markets

There is a widespread suspicion that suggested prices act as a focal point for individual firms when setting their prices. Oil companies announce suggested prices for gasoline stations in the Dutch retail market. We show that, compared to the gasoline spot market price, suggested prices contain additional information that explains retail price changes. We conclude that suggested prices have a horizontal coordinating effect in the sense that retail prices react to information that suggested prices contain and that is unrelated to firms’ costs (i.e., the information that firms use under normal competitive conditions).

神府高速公路桥梁临时支座设置研究

公路桥梁施工中,经常遇到先简支,后连续这样的体系转换问题,这就涉及到简支阶段的临时支座设计、使用以及拆除。本文通过实例对临时支座控制预留沉降量、临时支座与垫石的位置关系、支座各部位受力安全、永久支座和临时支座处于同一高程、泄砂孔的螺母螺栓匹配等因素进行了研究,提出了该过程的相关技术控制思路和方法,为对同类工程提供借鉴。
