文化语境下的英汉植物词汇意义与翻译

思维方式、民情风俗、心理以及文学积淀的差异,赋予英、汉语中植物词汇以不同的文化内涵。因此,在英汉翻译中了解与掌握植物词汇的文化意义差异是达到＂真实＂翻译所必备的条件。本文通过对英语汉语植物词汇的差异比较,提出了三种具体的翻译方法。

Foreign Plants and Industry Productivity: Evidence from Chile

This paper presents new evidence on foreign plants and their effects on a host industry. I test the predictions of a Melitz‐type model using a panel of domestic and foreign plants in the Chilean manufacturing sector. Foreign ownership is a strong predictor of plant productivity and size advantages. Moreover, productivity gains for a domestic incumbent are positively associated with foreign plants' presence in the same industry and region. I also find a positive correlation between foreign entry and exit of less productive domestic plants, but inconclusive evidence on the effects on productivity of new domestic plants.     

Transportation rates and plant location in oligopolistic competition with sequential entry

This paper examines the impact of quantity-discounted transportation rates on location patterns of oligopolistic competition with sequential entry. When transportation rates are constant, Hwang and Mai (1990) show that the entrant locates at the same point as the existing firms if the production function exhibits constant returns to scale. The entrant will locate farther away from (closer to) the market than the existing firms do if the production function exhibits increasing (decreasing) returns to scale. This paper shows that Hwang and Mai's results need not hold when transportation rates are a function of quantity shipped and distance traveled.

基于竞价上网的煤电纵向一体化及其效率

煤电矛盾的根源是价格双轨制和地区生产不对称性，纵向兼并能有效解决现阶段煤电矛盾，但一体化是否有反竞争效应却值得商榷。本文通过纵向兼并交易的博弈模型，研究电力竞价上网背景下，存在上下游纵向兼并的煤电交易行为均衡路径及其效率，认为煤电纵向兼并的竞争效应与反竞争效应并存，但如果煤炭可现货交易，竞争效应大于反竞争效应。文章最后提出了相应的政策建议。     

环氧乙烷吸收塔的改造

分析了环氧乙烷（EO）/乙二醇（EG）联合装置中的EO吸收塔的吸收能力达不到设计要求的原因,提出了改造方案。改造后装置生产负荷可达到100%,产品质量提高,物耗、能耗降低。

西南地区电厂超低排放措施研究

我国西南地区电厂燃煤具有高硫份、高灰份的特点,对于实现超低排放提出了更高的要求。本文选取西南地区某600MW级W火焰炉燃煤发电机组,结合其煤质特点,对大气污染物的排放控制措施进行优化研究。
