This paper provides an overview of the development of the low-cost carrier (LCC) sector in China, Japan, and South Korea. It is the first paper that documents LCC contributions to the passenger traffic and cheaper fares in Northeast Asia (NEA)'s intra-markets. We argue that a single aviation market can facilitate the growth of the LCC sector, which in turn will make a significant contribution to the NEA connectivity, mobility, and integration. In addition, with a single aviation market, NEA countries can adopt a proactive, unified approach in negotiating air transport agreements with the major aviation partners to maximize the interests of this region as a whole, which will further provide valuable growth opportunities for the LCCs. 相似文献

Traffic crashes are a serious public health and socio-economic problem, and they are one of leading causes of death of males in Serbia. In order to determine the main causes of road traffic crashes in Ni? region, Republic of Serbia, nine key risk indicators of road traffic crashes are identified, organized into four groups (number and structure of crashes, consequences of traffic crashes, temporal and spatial location of traffic crashes, causes and sanctions), and described in detail. The indicators are ranked based on group fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP), where experts from insurance companies, professionally engaged in the process of risk assessment, with different previous experience present different impact on the final ranking. In relation to the most influential factors in the assessment of traffic crashes, improper and unadjusted vehicle speed, overtaking and passing, as well as the physical condition of the driver have the highest effect. 相似文献

The contemporary tourism market trends indicate an increasing need for the individualisation of tourist experience and necessitate a move away from the standardisation of tourism products, including those offered within the cities that primarily market their cultural heritage. The concept of creative tourism as a way of practising cultural tourism is a response to the changing needs and expectations of tourists. This is because it offers non-traditional uses for the cultural potential of cities. This article attempts to embed creative tourism in the overall tourist product using an example of a historic city – Krakow. The authors examine the development of tourism products in Krakow, focusing primarily on cultural and historical heritage tourism and secondarily on new forms of tourism that have emerged, such as creative tourism and slow tourism. The introduction of the Central European Air Traffic Services Upper Area Control Centre controlling the upper airspace of several European countries allows different route-charging policies. The impact of three charging scenarios on aircraft operators is examined. It is found that, without a compensatory mechanism, the policy of having different unit rates for each air navigation service provider would adversely affect regional and region-based carriers because the unit rate of the new provider would be significantly lower than the unit rates of the national providers controlling the lower airspaces. 相似文献
