论证券消费者权益的法律保护

证券消费者是金融消费者的一种,在区别于一般消费者的同时,基于行业的特殊性,又有区别于银行消费者、保险消费者的特殊权利。但我国对证券消费者权益的法律保护明显不足。美国以及中国香港地区针对证券消费者权益保护的专门策略给我们带来启示,可以通过加强金融消费者权益保护统一立法、设立专门的金融纠纷解决机构等措施完善我国对证券消费者的权益保护。

农村人力资本投资对农民增收的影响探析

在城乡二元体制结构下,我国农村人力资本投资不足,严重制约了农业、农村的发展和农民收入的提高。基于我国农民人均收入和农村人力资本投资的相关数据,通过对农民收入和人力资本投资的回归分析和格兰杰检验,可以透析农村人力资本投资的意义和对农民增收的具体作用机制,表明教育投资对农民增收具有滞后效应,其中健康投资对于中低收入家庭有着重要意义。     

Social Comparison Goals and the Consumption of Advertising: Towards a More Contingent View of Young Women’s Consumption of Advertising

In this paper we use a small-scale exploratory study to challenge current interpretations of the potential effects of the portrayals of women in print advertising on young women’s self-esteem and body image. We examine how young women’s self-perception and self-esteem may be affected depending on their goal for social comparison: self-evaluation, self-improvement and self-enhancement. The results indicate that the goal for social comparison is an important moderating influence on how advertising images are interpreted and consumed. The findings confirm and extend earlier studies; and provide support for challenging prevalent views of women, firstly as passive consumers of advertising messages; secondly, as necessarily susceptible to negative self assessment in response to ideal images in advertising; and thirdly as pursuing only one goal in their consumption of advertising.     

土地利用规划实施评估制度设计构想

采用资料比较与归纳分析方法,总结了上轮规划实施评价工作取得的成效及存在的问题,并结合需求、围绕规划实施评估制度建设目标,提出在《土地管理法》修订以及《土地利用规划条例》研究制定中,明确涉及规划实施评估的条款;对规划实施评估的目的、时限、主体、程序予以规定;并依据规划层级的不同功能定位和评估需求,开展工作体系与技术体系等基础建设工作,为建立规划实施评估制度,完善规划体系和保障规划顺利实施提供思路。     

'Accounting talk' in a caring setting

An action research study, designed to investigate the effects on cost control of individually designed cost reports, uncovered indications that the use of financial information may be socially, rather than cognitively, determined. For financial information to be used sensibly it has to be given meaning in context, i.e., in the professional discourse. The financial language, related to a different conceptual framework, and dealing with secondary effects of professional activities, was assumed to be blocked from entering into the learning processes of professionals. Therefore, a 'modest' intervention was designed. It was oriented towards conceptual training and design, and redesign, of reports. The effects of the intervention would be monitored in regular interviews about the problem solving process in professional groups. As the study proceeded over a 1 year period it gradually became evident that the interviews, or 'talks' as we prefer to call them, played a more important role than the individually adapted financial reporting.     

Profit improvement programmes in food and beverage operations: a new technique of profit management

For several years now the author has run profit improvement programmes (PIP) for food and beverage operations throughout the U.K. In the paper which follows he explains the underlying philosophy of PIPs, describes the methodology and demonstrates their success.     

Product development benchmarking versus customer focus in applications of quality function deployment

The study explores the tradeoff between efforts to benchmark on product-development practices and be customer focused in the implementation of a quality-improvement method. The results of a survey of thirty-three firms' experience with quality function deployment (QFD) reveal that benchmarking on how competitors, peers, or role models develop products facilitates process improvement but hinders customer focus. Smaller firms are also shown to gain more customer focus and process-improvement benefits from QFD than larger firms.The authors gratefully acknowledge the support of the Office of Manufacturing Management Research, the National Quality Research Center, and the Manufacturing Forum at the University of Michigan's School of Business Administration as well as the kind assistance of the American Supplier Institute for making this study possible.
