A number‐of‐modes reference rule for density estimation under multimodality

We consider kernel density estimation for univariate distributions. The question of interest is as follows: given that the data analyst has some background knowledge on the modality of the data (for instance, ‘data of this type are usually bimodal’), what is the adequate bandwidth to choose? We answer this question by extending Silverman's idea of ‘normal‐reference’ to that of ‘reference to a Gaussian mixture’. The concept is illustrated in the light of real data examples.

财政转移支付是1994年实行分税制以来平衡中央-地方以及区域间财力不均的制度，我国专项转移支付又始终占据着财政转移支付的重大比重。专项转移支付在确定资金转移地区，资金转移项目以及每个专项拨款多少的标准是如何确定的？这些都取决于专项转移支付的决策过程。文章通过多源流分析视角来探析我国财政专项转移支付的决策过程中存在的问题，了解我国财政专项转移支付的决策过程。     

商业银行管理层激励机制研究——基于董事会多重目标的视角

由于管理层激励与银行价值相关性较弱,其有效性问题一直困扰着公司治理学者。研究商业银行管理层激励机制设计得出,银行有效管理层激励机制应该是：将董事会所有的目标都作为管理层激励合约的考核指标,并且各个目标产出对管理层收入的影响系数保持相同。除了反映公司价值目标的股票、期权等激励以外,银行管理层的收入还必须包括相当比例的反映资产风险等目标的激励部分。由于商业银行的特殊性,其最优管理层激励约束机制的目标影响系数设定应该较普通企业更低。因此,委托代理问题更严重,董事会直接监督的责任更大。     

Strategies of Korean firms in china's high‐tech market: Striving for a new and sustainable business model

China has become a strategically important market for Korean companies. While cooperating with China is obviously important for their success and survival, a more difficult question lies in finding a new and sustainable business model applicable to China. This paper studies the current challenges and strategies of Korean Small and Medium‐sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the high‐tech market such as the mobile handset and online game industries that are trying to extend their business to China. It focuses on the issue that Korean firms face in order to find a way to survive and integrate with a rising China. By conducting an in‐depth firm level analysis, it examines their successes and failures in terms of what parts of the value chain they specialize in and how they establish a division of labor with China.

Understanding the role of situational factors on online grocery shopping among older adults

This paper seeks to identify the situational factors that drive the adoption of online grocery shopping among older adults. A two-step research process is employed. First, exploratory qualitative research is carried out to identify situational factors that older adults take into account when deciding whether to buy groceries online. This is followed by a conjoint experiment to determine which situational factors are considered most important when making such a decision. The sample consisted of 9 participants in the in-depth individual interviews and 206 respondents in the conjoint experiment. The findings indicate that health, mobility issues, and distance to a store are the most important situational factors driving older adults to buy groceries online. Moreover, the findings confirm that the adoption of online grocery shopping among older adults is a result of a complex trade-off of situational variables. The findings contribute to managerial practice by providing online grocery retailers with insight that can be applied when designing promotional programs targeted at older adults.

信贷、保险、“信贷+保险”的扶贫效果比较研究

农村金融是农村经济发展的重要内生动力,创新金融扶贫体制对我国农村深度贫困地区的脱贫攻坚工作具有重要意义。本文基于多重均衡模型,对比研究信贷、保险、"信贷+保险"三类金融产品的扶贫效果,在不同的信贷和保险产品结构下得出陷贫概率,进而得出金融扶贫产品的精准设计,以创新金融扶贫体制,从而解决我国深度贫困的问题。研究表明:单独信贷产品扶贫无效;保险能够帮助阈值以上人群摆脱潜在贫困,但对深度贫困无效;"信贷+保险"能解决一定程度的深度贫困问题,比单独信贷或单独保险的扶贫效果更好。     

基于LDA主题模型的专利文本分析应用研究

为了解决运用传统的专利文本分析方法中出现的分类粗糙、科学性不强等问题,提出使用基于Latent Dirichlet Allocation(LDA)主题模型的专利文本分析方法。以我国转基因玉米育种领域专利文本为研究对象,对专利文本主题进行划分。通过实验表明LDA主题模型对专利文本的划分和热门领域的分类准确、有效。并得出结论:对专利文本使用LDA主题模型建模可以实现对专利文本的分类,可以实现对热门领域主题分类、子领域细分,并对未来发展态势给出意见。
