以企业文化为导向的星级酒店CRM的实证研究

酒店业的高速发展以及顾客的期望值不断提高,如何利用CRM系统来提升客人的满意度,以达到提升酒店竞争力是酒店需要关注的,本文对客户关系管理(CRM)理论研究和国内星级酒店CRM中存在的问题进行分析,最后以三亚丽思卡尔顿酒店基于企业文化创建的CRM系统值得我国国内酒店学习和借鉴。     

Cost-effectiveness of a continuous glucose monitoring system with trending and rate information to predict hypoglycaemia and hyperglycaemia in pregnant women with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus

Summary

This study seeks to determine the cost-effectiveness of the FreeStyle Navigator? continuous glucose monitoring system compared with self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) when predicting hypoglycaemia and hyperglycaemia in pregnant women with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus. A Markov model was constructed, and initial model analysis demonstrates that use of the FreeStyle Navigator? by a patient who is trained in diabetes management is more cost-effective than SMBG, resulting in an incremental cost-effectiveness ratio of $267 per quality-adjusted life-month ($3,204 per quality-adjusted life-year). The real-time glucose level rate of change and trend information provided by the FreeStyle Navigator? allows appropriately trained patients to improve upon decisions regarding self-treatment to prevent hypoglycaemic and hyperglycaemic episodes, resulting in a lower treatment cost and higher effectiveness than untrained patients. Based on current performance attributes, a device such as the FreeStyle Navigator? would be more cost-effective than other glucose-monitoring devices, meeting the $50,000/QALY willingness-to-pay threshold used by payers for adoption of new technology.     

Reflexiones sobre el tratamiento de la crisis del empleo en Europa

Europa sufre desde el decenio de 1970 una crisis crónica del empleo que ha cobrado dimensiones sin precedentes con la crisis económica actual. Para comprenderla, la autora hace un balance del diálogo social y de los pactos sociales sobre reformas laborales y de los regímenes de pensiones, evalúa las políticas activas de mercado de trabajo y analiza las economías resilientes; concluye demostrando la necesidad de reinventar el diálogo social y la protección social teniendo en cuenta las transformaciones socioeconómicas actuales, reorientar el crédito hacia las PYME, activar la demanda de trabajadores y coordinar las políticas macroeconómicas a escala internacional.     

汽车空调风道出风情况的CFD分析与优化

文章建立了某车型汽车空调风道结构的三维数学模型,利用商业软件Fluent进行模拟,得到了风道出风口风量大小和风量的分配情况,并与设计值进行了比较;在此基础上,分析了风道出口扫风情况,提出了解决方案,对改进和优化风道结构,提高汽车空调整体性能具有一定的参考价值。     

Government Size,the Role of Commitments*

We explore the hypothesis that long‐term commitments affect the dynamics of government expenditure. With the aid of a simple median‐voter model we interpret the pattern of increasing‐then‐constant tax rates observed in OECD countries in the second half of the last century: persistence of public expenditure and a lower bound on new interventions will push government size upward, and preferences of the electorate put a halt to this growth at some point. In this view, the fiscal policy variable is seen to consist of only a part of the total expenditure, the rest being predetermined by its past level.     

Cournot Competition and Hit-and-Run Entry and Exit in a Teaching Experiment

Instructors can use a computerized experiment to introduce students to imperfect competition in courses on introductory economics, industrial organization, game theory, and strategy and management. In addition to introducing students to strategic thinking in general, the experiment serves to demonstrate that profits of a firm fall as the number of competitors is increased in a market and that firms enter profitable markets. The authors have used the experiment in undergraduate classes on strategy and management as well as in master of business administration courses with great success.     

Media,Education and Corruption: Investigating the Associations

We study the interactive association of press freedom, access to media and education with a nation's corruption levels. A free press generates unbiased information that greater access to the media helps propagate; and a greater degree of education, in the same context, helps individuals apply that information. This entire process generates a vigilant and corruption‐free economy. It is therefore important to consider these factors in conjunction.     

A LONG‐RUN VIEW OF THE UNIVERSITY GENDER GAP IN AUSTRALIA*

Australian universities were first established in the 1850s, well before the introduction of compulsory schooling. From the middle of the twentieth century, the introduction of mass secondary school education and the expansion of the number of universities widened student access to universities. Subjects offered in higher education increased in scope and labour market discrimination diminished. These factors, together with supply‐side changes, meant that women were more easily able to shift into investing in skills. By 1987, Australian women were more likely than men to be enrolled at a university. These aggregate figures, however, disguise considerable heterogeneity across fields of study.
