商业银行的前沿效率研究

文章根据随机成本前沿理论，运用面板数据模型（panel date）和多元回归分析方法，测算了我国商业银行的前沿效率值（2000-2004年），并对其决定因素进行了分析。结果表明，银行效率的提高来源于多元化的产权结构、充足的银行资本金、资产质量、人力资本、市场竞争程度等。     

Policies for agricultural development in Peninsular Malaysia

This paper highlights land use changes in the agricultural sector of Peninsular Malaysia. Since rational land use necessitates consideration of alternatives in relation to the natural potential of the land, the author examines the land resource inventory based on soil suitability and land utilization. This is followed by a discussion of land use changes brought about by public sector land development agencies and the private sector. The author gives a review of current land use policies and concludes with possible alternatives for the future.     

The Effects of Uncertainty on Market Prices: Evidence from Coaching Changes in the NBA

Abstract:  This study examines the effects of uncertainty on market prices. Specifically, we use the National Basketball Association betting market to examine whether uncertainty resulting from midseason coaching changes affects the ability of bettors to accurately set betting lines. We find that uncertainty amid midseason coaching changes results in less accurate pricing, as evidenced by higher volatility and greater overall inaccuracy in betting lines. We also find that uncertainty regarding the ability of the replacement coach and/or his strategies results in less accurate pricing, again evidenced by higher volatility and greater overall inaccuracy in betting lines.     

Impact of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area on China＇s International Agricultural Trade and Its Regional Development

This study aims to examine the impact of the China‐ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA) on China's international agricultural trade and its regional agricultural development, using the Global Trade Analysis Project model and the China Agricultural Decision Support System. Our analysis showed that: (i) CAFTA will improve resource allocation efficiencies for both China and ASEAN and will promote bilateral agricultural trade and, hence, will have positive effects on the economic development of both sides; (ii) CAFTA will accelerate China's export of the agricultural commodities in which it has comparative advantages, such as vegetables, wheat and horticultural products, but at the same time bring about a large increase in imports of commodities such as vegetable oil and sugar; and (iii) CAFTA will have significantly varying impacts on China's regional agricultural development because of large differences in the agricultural production structure in each region. Our results indicate that agriculture in the northern, northeastern and eastern regions of China will benefit from CAFTA, whereas agriculture development in southern China will suffer. Those regional specific impacts are quite different from the effects brought by multilateral free trade treaties, such as those of the WTO, which usually have positive effects on south China but negative impacts on the northern and western parts of China.     

我国发展循环经济的战略重点之一在农业

现有的农业循环经济的发展模式有大农业型、生态恢复型和废弃物再利用型三种。由于农业循环经济的内涵重点在于农业废弃物资源化及其循环再利用，所以我国农业循环经济的发展模式应以废弃物再利用型模式为主，其中又以大力开发可再生能源、综合利用秸秆生物质能源发展农业循环经济为重点之一。     

民族地区农村生产要素市场化的实证分析——以云南省丽江市玉龙县鲁甸乡为例

民族地区农村生产要素市场化水平比较低，阻碍了民族地区农村市场化改革的进程，并直接影响到农民增收。完善农村生产要素市场体系、理顺市场机制、实现生产要素的优化配置是农村市场化改革的关键。文章阐述了农村生产要素市场化改革的重要意义，分析了农村生产要素市场化的制约因素，并以云南省丽江市玉龙县鲁甸乡的实践为例，试图为农村生产要素市场化改革提供启示。     

我国农业保险发展面临的困境与出路

随着对“三农”问题重视程度的提高，我国的农业保险也在国家相关政策的支持下迎来了发展的春天。但目前我国农业保险的试点推广仍面临着一系列的困难和问题，文章分析了我国农业保险发展存在的四对矛盾，并在此基础上提出了走出农业保险发展困境的五点对策。

国家的发展看企业，企业的发展看效率。通过对企业的环节效率分析可以发现，我国大企业的发展是先利用国有资本的迅速集中形成大企业，提高了企业的生产和交易效率，然后经过产权改革，提高企业的分配效率，进而激励经营者通过加强管理、技术创新等提高企业的整体效率，逐步实现企业由大变强。     

我国资本市场监管效率实证分析

中国资本市场已经运行了很多年，随着中国加入WTO后市场的全面开放，对中国资本市场监管成效的研究可以有效地认识资本市场管理的不足。而对中国资本市场效率的研究都集中在20世纪90年代前期，因此有必要对现行的资本市场监管成效进行实证研究。
