搜索引挚的发展现状与趋势研究

在现代网络飞速发展的带动下，搜索引擎技术的功能也越来越强大，提供的服务也越来越全面，现已成为一个新的研究、开发领域。目前如何提供对网上信息的高效、智能的检索机制已经成为计算机网络领域内的一个研究热点。搜索引擎的研究要用到许多领域的理论和技术，所以具有综合性和挑战性。     

股市再融资的门槛有效吗?

This paper compares the cumulative abnormal returns and operating performance of Chinese listed firms which made seasoned equity offerings or right issues at different profitability thresholds. Results show that both the average long-term and short-term cumulative abnormal returns of these firms increase significantly after the setting of thresholds. Moreover, the accounting performances of these firms are also improved to some degree. It implies that regulations on new equity raising behavior of listed firms are necessary and effective in protecting the investors and restricting listed firms’s “money encirclement” behaviors. Institutional investors and opportunistic seasoned equity offerings in the Korean stock market

This study examines the impact of institutional monitoring on opportunistic seasoned equity offerings (SEOs) in the Korean stock market. With a firm’s accrual quality as a measurement for the degree of information asymmetry between managers and investors, we hypothesize that the managers of firms with poor accrual quality are likely to engage in opportunistic SEOs, but such opportunistic activity is weak in firms strongly monitored by institutional investors. The empirical findings indicate that opportunistic SEOs tend to be deterred by institutional monitoring.

盈余管理是公司在遵循会计准则的基础上,通过对外报告的会计收益信息进行控制或调整,以达到主体自身利益最大化的行为,公司上市后的股权再融资（Secondary Equity Offering,SEO）中通常会存在盈余管理。本文通过横截面估计方法,对2006年至2008年间有股权再融资的公司进行操控性利润的分离估计和检验,验证其是否存在盈余管理现象,并通过上市公司的盈利数据及累计超常收益率的回归检验,揭示市场对股权再融资和非股权再融资两类公司公布的财务状况的反应。

文章从搜索引擎目前在中国存在的实际情况出发,分析了影响网站搜索排名的几个重要因素,同时也分析了搜索引擎Google的搜索排名原理,说明了搜索引擎优化的重要原理,并从实践中总结出一些网站设计的优化策略.     

Equity issues when in distress

We investigate the role of financial distress in the seasoned equity market. We find that distressed firms comprise about 40% of SEOs and these distressed issuers have worse abnormal announcement returns than non‐distressed issuers. Stock return volatility is an important determinant for announcement returns for non‐distressed SEO issuers but not for distressed SEO issuers. Signals of firm quality are associated with better announcement returns, larger issues, increased investment, improved operating performance, and lower likelihood of delisting for distressed SEO firms as compared to non‐distressed firms. Our findings suggest equity finance is valuable for financially distressed firms with strong growth prospects.     

Determinants of Chinese equity financing behaviours: traditional model and the alternatives

This paper studies the capital structure of Chinese SEO issuers, from the perspective of equity. The traditional model is subject to several problems including spurious correlation, cumulative measure and endogeneity. System GMM (generalised method of moments) is superior to the traditional model. Corporate governance is positively correlated to firm equity level; however, it does not affect incremental managerial adjustments to equity. In addition, state control positively influences equity level but has a negative effect on incremental managerial adjustment. Mixed evidence is found for the established capital structure theories in the Chinese context.
