THE LIBERAL DEMOCRATS AND SUPPLY‐SIDE ECONOMICS

The coalition has given the Liberal Democrats the opportunity to demonstrate their support for – or opposition to – supply‐side economics. The person who has done most on the supply side is Ed Davey, in the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills. In a remarkable legislative achievement for a Parliamentary Under Secretary in under two years in office, Davey ensured that the privatisation of Royal Mail reached the statute books, liberalised the terms and conditions for Post Office counters, and liberalised employment and retirement laws.

发展农村经济,提高农民收入是当前经济工作的重点之一.制约农村经济发展的因素很多,其中一个主要因素是农村缺少现代物流.构建农村现代物流可以加速农村物资的流通,改善农村建设,提高农民收入.中国邮政已经建立了覆盖广大农村的物流网络,加之中国邮政作为一家国企在农村拥有很高的信誉度和知名度,是农民可以信赖的企业.邮政开展农村物流具有得天独厚的优势,既有利于新农村建设,又可增加邮政的实力,农村将会成为邮政物流的重要市场.     

Firm Investment decisions in the post‐conflict context

Economic and political transition can occur through peaceful or violent means. Violent transition disrupts the incentive for firms to make productive investments. This paper studies the determinants of profit reinvestment for firms in post‐conflict transition economies. Results indicate that while access to finance is an important determinant of reinvestment during transition, it is not as important in the post‐conflict context. However, property rights protections, in particular institutions of contract enforcement, are a more important determinant of profit reinvestment for firms operating in the post‐conflict environment than for firms in general. This indicates that obstacles to investment are context specific.     

后危机时代海外共同基金业的发展

共同基金作为历史悠久、运作规范的主流投资品种,在资产管理行业中具有举足轻重的地位。在次贷危机对全球金融业产生严重冲击的背景下,全球共同基金业也未能独善其身。但随着危机热浪退去,海外共同基金业又重新显示出旺盛的生命力。本文梳理了2009年以来海外共同基金的发展状况,从规模、类型、申购、费率、交易自动化等多个角度进行深入分析,从而得出共同基金产业后危机时代呈现出的一些新特点,及其与全球金融市场之间的联动与契合。     

能源化工企业科技项目后评估研究

科技项目后评估对于能源化工企业科技创新能力及科技管理水平的提升具有十分重要的作用,目前尚缺乏在理论上建立后评估指标及设计后评估方法。在实地调查国内大型能源化工科技管理部门的基础上,设计并发放了调查问卷,借助spss14.0和amos4.0统计分析软件对所收集的数据进行处理,经过筛选与检验构建了能源化工企业后评估指标体系。选用模糊综合评判作为能源化工企业科技项目后评估的方法,并设计了具体的评价步骤,研究结果对企业科技项目管理实践具有一定的理论指导意义。     

中国邮政品牌建设方案研究

邮政作为百年老店,具有较强的品牌影响力。但由于维护不力,品牌效应逐渐减弱。本文在分析中国邮政品牌建设现状的基础上,提出了中国邮政品牌建设的具体方案,并进一步阐述了方案的实施措施。

本文考察了农村邮政物流的现状,分析了农村邮政物流的主要特点,并在此基础上提出了农村邮政物流的发展方向。     

后金融危机时期江苏出口贸易对产业升级的影响与对策

世界经济逐步走出金融危机,但是金融危机并没有完全消除,发展缓慢困扰后金融危机时期的各国经济。文章从贸易需求和产品结构角度分析出口贸易对江苏产业升级的影响,提出了优化产业结构、积极发展服务业、配套产业、扶持民营企业和大力发展绿色产业等产业升级对策。     

后股权分置时代的并购支付方式——国际经验与中国借鉴

本文回顾了最近几年国外对并购支付方式的实证研究成果,同时从美国、欧洲和全球不同地区分析国外主要采用的并购支付方式。我们发现,与成熟证券市场的国家相比,目前我国支付手段过于单一,普遍采用现金支付;股票支付将逐渐成为我国后股权分置时代并购支付的主要手段。通过以上分析,我们为相关部门提供了翔实而全面的国际经验,并在最后提出相应建议。     

The State,Public Policy and Heterodox Economics: An Introduction

While most heterodox economists endorse some amount of policy activism, there is no unified conception of the state and public policy in heterodox economics. To help clarify the similarities and differences within heterodoxy – and between heterodox and mainstream economics – a panel addressing this subject was convened in 2007 at the Annual Meeting of the Association for Institutional Thought. This article introduces the essays prepared for that symposium. They include an examination of the position of Marx and Engels, a clarification of the institutionalist views of Veblen and Commons, an outline of the perspective of Post Keynesian Institutionalism, and an account of some essential contributions of Classical Pragmatism (a major school of thought within the philosophy of science). The collection advances what Robert Heilbroner called “the worldly philosophy” by seeking to understand the role of the state in a world where institutions, defined broadly as social habits, adjust to other institutions.
