语言作为人类文明交流的载体,是推进“一带一路”建设的纽带和桥梁。自1492年地理大发现开始,经济贸易带动文明的互通,而语言作为贸易实现的必要条件从一开始便与经济发展紧密相连。“一带一路”成为当今全球化实现转型升级的重要抓手,也是中国积极融入全球体系贡献中国智慧的有效途径。语言作为全球互联互通的重要纽带,其对“一带一路”建设的经济价值日益凸显。主要体现在劳动力可通过加强语言技能从而提高人力资本进而提升收入水平,以及推动语言产业实现其经济效益,成为新的经济增长点。同时,“一带一路”框架下的互联互通建设将为语言人才就业及语言产业化发展提供新的机遇,进一步助力语言经济价值的实现。  相似文献

投资规模、投资效率和投资潜力是高质量投资的核心内容,在推进"一带一路"倡仪中发挥着重要作用。本文从这三个角度出发,基于2011~2017年间中国对"一带一路"沿线57个国家的OFDI数据,构建随机前沿模型,分析中国对"一带一路"沿线国家高质量投资规模的影响因素,为提升中国对外投资效率和发掘投资潜力提供新的解决思路,也为中国与沿线国家间的产业合作明确方向。研究结果显示:就投资规模而言,"一带一路"沿线国家经济总量越大时,将显著吸引中国对该类东道国的OFDI,但中国与"一带一路"东道国距离以及东道国自身的经济自由度越高,反而会降低对中国OFDI的吸引力;就投资效率而言,中国对"一带一路"沿线国家顺梯度OFDI效率没有明显提升,但逆梯度OFDI效率有稳定上升;就投资潜力而言,中国需要挖掘对东亚、中亚、南亚以及东盟地区投资的新增长点和投资新契机,目前中国对独联体地区的投资相对薄弱,有待加强。  相似文献

Using a newly built soft power index, we examine whether and how soft power affects Chinese firm-level export to the Belt and Road (B&R) countries from 2000 to 2016. We find that soft power has significantly positive effects on both export value and export product types for the B&R countries. These effects are more pronounced than those for non-B&R countries and differ not only between the "Belt" and the "Road" countries but also regional groups, firm ownerships, modes of trade, and sectors. Further analysis shows that soft power increases the intensive margin of exports by approximately three times that of the extensive margin. Thus, our findings provide a new perspective for understanding both the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the contemporary economic evolution occurring in China.  相似文献

Although worldwide poverty, a basic concern of John Kenneth Galbraith, is reducing on average, I argue that poverty remains a critical issue in many countries. This led the Chinese government to propose the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in 2013. Broadly, the BRI constructs a cross-continental nexus between countries to reduce their development uncertainties by increasing their connectivity. As a result, the Chinese government has invested trillions of infrastructure dollars in projects that have been introduced to the involved countries as sovereign debt along with the participation of Chinese multinational corporations. Although evidence has shown that this initiative is gaining increasingly more support from the less-developed countries, signs of uncertainty in various forms have clearly emerged. In light of such, I propose that possible in-country political instability, political conflicts among the participating countries, national debt defaults, and competition between China and the United States of America in regional influence may have added to the underlying uncertainties that have challenged the world.  相似文献

Does outward foreign direct investment (OFDI) create or diminish jobs in the home country? We develop a theoretical model to study the relation between OFDI and domestic employment and to evaluate the roles that industrial structure upgrading and the Belt Road Initiative (BRI) play therein. Using Chinese provincial panel data during the period 2005–2018, and applying simultaneous equation modelling techniques to control for endogeneity, we find that China’s OFDI presents a significant positive impact on domestic employment, and the BRI moderates this impact positively. As a mediating factor, industrial structure upgrading suppresses employment, but the overall employment impact of OFDI remains positive. We construct panel simultaneous equation models to control for the endogeneity problem caused by simultaneity, and find that our main findings are still supported.  相似文献

新冠肺炎疫情的爆发,加速了全球贸易格局重构,"一带一路"国家在我国对外经贸关系中的支撑作用增强。本文运用主成分分析法构建起一套指标体系,测算出"一带一路"沿线50个国家的贸易便利化水平,并基于拓展引力模型分析其对中国出口的影响。除进行总量分析外,本文还分别从要素结构、技术结构、经济用途结构和二元边际结构等方面对中国出口产品结构进行分类,详细分析了贸易便利化对各类出口产品的异质性影响。研究表明:提升沿线国家的贸易便利化水平可以极大促进我国出口贸易流量的提升,并优化中国的出口贸易结构;与国内生产总值、人口和区域经济一体化组织相比,贸易便利化对中国出口的促进作用更为显著,其中以口岸与物流效率和海关与边境管理对中国出口影响最大。贸易便利化对中国出口高技术含量产品和资本密集型产品促进作用显著,表明其对中国出口贸易结构的转型升级具有积极的正面作用。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

What are the major determinants of China’s meat exports flows? In addressing this question, we propose a commodity-specific gravity model. This study has employed a unique dataset of 20 years (1997–2016) for China’s pork exports flows to its 31 regular trading partners to estimate the commodity-specific gravity model. The PPML and Heckman selection models are simultaneously estimated to confirm the robustness of the findings. The results reveal that GDP, exchange rate, common language, and country land area are the significant factors affecting the Chinese pork exports flows. Moreover, China’s WTO membership, the ‘Belt & Road’ Initiative, and the common borders have a positive significant impact on its exports of pork.  相似文献

"一带一路"建设步入新阶段之后,高质量发展正在成为其主要目标,但学术界对于推动高质量发展的路径却存在不同的看法。作者首先假定"一带一路"是一种发展导向型的区域经济合作机制,进而提出高质量发展的核心在于可持续性,而实现可持续性的基本路径在于机制化。"一带一路"的发展导向决定了在其起步阶段不以设置规则为门槛,从而为发展中国家参与国际经济合作提供了机遇,但这并不意味着"一带一路"建设不需要规则和机制化。机制化建设是"一带一路"框架下深化合作的内在要求,是应对外部挑战的必然选择,是对接现行全球治理体系的前提条件。但这种机制化建设不可能复制现有区域经济一体化机制化建设的模式,而是需要遵循共商、渐进与义利观原则。以此为前提,"一带一路"的高质量发展需要构建可持续发展的合作机制、利益分配机制与支持体系。  相似文献

依据2009-2018年沪深两市A股上市非金融企业数据,基于2014年"一带一路"倡议实施这一准自然实验,考量"一带一路"倡议实施对企业金融化水平的影响.结果显示:"一带一路"倡议的实施可以显著抑制企业的金融化水平;"一带一路"倡议实施对企业金融化水平的抑制效应仅在非国有企业、内部控制质量高、东部地区以及重点扶持行业的公司中存在;缓解融资约束是"一带一路"倡议实施抑制企业金融化水平的一个重要渠道.  相似文献
