Service quality control mechanisms in franchise networks

This paper reports the study of some factors that influence the control intensity exerted by franchisors on the service quality provided by the franchised units of their networks and what interdependencies exist between the different mechanisms that can be used to monitor service quality. On the one hand, three control mechanisms of conformance quality are considered, namely audits, mystery shoppers, and mandatory purchase of inputs and products. On the other hand, polls are used to monitor perceived quality by customers. There are two main findings. First, control intensity is greater in those industries in which customers tend to be non-repetitive. Second, four complementary relationships are found between control mechanisms: between audits and mystery shoppers, between audits and polls, between mandatory purchase of inputs or products and mystery shoppers, and between mandatory purchase of inputs or products and polls.

Aligning observed and modelled behaviour based on workflow decomposition

When business processes are mostly supported by information systems, the availability of event logs generated from these systems, as well as the requirement of appropriate process models are increasing. Business processes can be discovered, monitored and enhanced by extracting process-related information. However, some events cannot be correctly identified because of the explosion of the amount of event logs. Therefore, a new process mining technique is proposed based on a workflow decomposition method in this paper. Petri nets (PNs) are used to describe business processes, and then conformance checking of event logs and process models is investigated. A decomposition approach is proposed to divide large process models and event logs into several separate parts that can be analysed independently; while an alignment approach based on a state equation method in PN theory enhances the performance of conformance checking. Both approaches are implemented in programmable read-only memory (ProM). The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed methods are illustrated through experiments.

流程挖掘研究

企业信息系统，例如企业资源计划（ERP），客户关系管理（CRM），供应链管理（SCM），Web服务等等都支持企业流程．但是它们都不能跟踪并改进流程。流程挖掘的目的就是从日志数据中抽取信息构建商业流程执行时的模型，从而能跟踪改进流程。本文简单介绍了流程挖掘涉及到的一系列方面，包括流程挖掘的定义、框架、研究难点。最后从九个方面对四种流程挖掘工具EMiT，Little Thumnb，InWoLvE，Process Miner进行了比较。     

多模终端测试平台的搭建及仿真实现

为了改善现有终端测试平台的调试能力差、自动化功能不足和测试环境不真实等缺点,搭建了新的基于TTCN-3（Testing and Test Control Notation version 3)测试系统的多模终端无线资源管理（RRM）一致性测试平台,设计了关于多小区异系统测量过程的测试方案,根据该方案进行仿真,自动生成测试流程图和测试结果报告,不仅说明了多模终端的测量功能符合3GPP（3rd Generation Partnership Project）协议要求,而且有效验证了所搭建终端测试平台的合理性与优越性。

自APEC茂物目标提出以来,标准一致化一直是APEC重要的合作领域之一。近年来,APEC在标准一致化领域的合作进展迅速,已成为APEC最活跃和成效最为显著的合作领域之一。文章总结了APEC标准一致化合作的最新进展并对其进行了综合评价,指出了该领域合作的主要特点,同时对该领域合作的未来发展进行了展望。

风景中的建筑不仅为人提供服务,亦不可破坏风景,最好是融入风景,或成为风景中的一部分,甚至自成一景,为风景添上一笔,或成为风景中的焦点。提出本土设计的主张,以若干实践为基础,总结出消隐、分合、顺形、透空、地材、乡土、观望和掩映8个关键词作为设计的方向。     

一种低复杂度信道模拟器的设计

针对TD-LTE射频一致性测试系统专项的需求及通用信道模拟器设计周期长、复杂度高的现状,研究了影响无线信道特性的路径损耗、阴影衰落、多径多普勒效应和高斯白噪声等因素,并相应提出了一种新的计算正余弦函数方法和高斯白噪声产生方法。通过信道理论建模、Matlab链路搭建进行模型优化分析以及基于Xilinx公司Virtex-6芯片的模型FPGA实现,得到了一种简单有效的信道模拟器。实验表明,用TD-LTE基带信号作为激励,该信道冲激响应与Matlab理论值误差在2‰之内,且模型不涉及SCM、WINNER等模型天线方向图、多链路等高复杂度模块,说明该信道模拟器具有简便性和可靠性。
