一种快速的扇束CT滤波反投影重建算法

提出了一种用于扇束CT(计算机断层扫描)重建的快速滤波反投影算法.这种算法是传统标准滤波反投影(FBP)重建算法的加速形式,主要通过减少投影数量然后重建子图像来实现.实验结果表明:对于一幅512×512图像,这种算法可以将重建过程加速40倍以上,并且不会引入明显的图像误差.这种算法也适应于多层螺旋三维重建,并且可以延伸用于三维锥形重建.     

Body scanning as a new anthropometric measurement tool for health‐risk assessment

The study explored the accuracy of body measurements gathered from trained observers employing a tape measure compared with those generated by the 3D body scanner. Tape measurements of body circumferences are routinely used for assessing future risk to health, as increased circumference of the waist vs. hip is associated with greater chronic disease rates later in life. Findings indicated that significant differences existed between circumference measurements calculated by the body scanner and those which were gathered from a tape measure. This research indicates that utilization of the body scanner as an anthropometric measurement tool for the assessment of health risk has tremendous benefits.     

Patterns on an ancient artifact: a coincidence?

The Phaistos Disk is an ancient artifact from Crete. At each side of the disk, a series of unknown signs is written along a spiral. Professional archaeologists expect that we will only learn what it is until similar objects are found. A statistical analysis in this article shows what it is not: it is not a one‐dimensional text, since there are relations between the signs in adjacent windings of the spiral. Three patterns of such relations have been identified. A Monte Carlo simulation of one of them has been performed, using a model of the spiral form. It is concluded that the probability of this pattern being coincidental is small, well below the conventional threshold.     

提高航管二次雷达近程目标跟踪稳定性的方法

针对相控阵体制航管二次雷达系统在雷达近程探测空域内无法稳定监视目标的问题，提出了一种提高航管二次雷达系统对近程目标跟踪稳定性的方法。基于现有航管二次雷达系统的硬件架构，设计了在对监视空域进行航管扫描询问过程中密集插入对近程目标跟踪询问的工作方式，并给出了航管近程跟踪询问流程和波位随机同步跳转控制时序的详细设计方法以及对航管近程跟踪能力的估算方法。仿真计算结果验证了该方法的可行性和有效性。

The spatial clustering investment behavior in housing markets

Housing markets has long been studied by researchers. This paper aims to investigate the tax policy (Special Stamp Duty) impact on housing markets in spatial clustered pattern, which has scarcely been considered in previous studies. To fill in this gap, a group of second hand housing transaction records in Hong Kong is examined by spatial scan statistics and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Our methodology differs from previous studies that it is location-oriented. Our new findings point out that the recent execution of Special Stamp Duty would cause venturi effect in housing markets: the overall transaction volume would significantly move downwards and more high transaction regions would be formed. The location factor has a significant and positive relationship with the change of transaction status. Moreover, the venturi effect provides us valuable information to understand the housing investment behavior as well as the short-term feedback for government and policy makers.

一种正前视宽扇区高分辨雷达扫描成像方法

合成孔径雷达（Synthetic Aperture Radar,SAR）只有照射到飞行方向左、右两侧的感兴趣成像区域时才能处理出高分辨率SAR图像,飞行方向正前方的成像区域就成为了SAR成像的固有盲区。三通道（和、方位差、俯仰差）毫米波单脉冲成像雷达能够实现对正前视场景的二维成像，获取单脉冲图像。提出对SAR/单脉冲图像进行图像配准和融合拼接的方法：首先利用多尺度多方向二维Gabor滤波器组分别对SAR/单脉冲图像进行特征提取，然后对两组特征矩阵进行归一化互相关匹配，对匹配好的图像进行像素级融合处理，得到完整的正前视宽扇区高分辨雷达图像。试验数据成像处理结果表明，所提复合成像算法能够对飞行正前方宽扇区范围内进行高分辨成像，有效解决了工程实际中碰到的正前视高分辨成像盲区的难题，对于前视雷达成像侦察、弹载雷达目标区域景象匹配、飞行器夜航、盲降等具有一定的工程实际意义。
