Satisfaction With All-Inclusive Tourism Resorts: The Effects of Satisfaction With Destination and Destination Loyalty

Despite the fact that all-inclusive package holidays play a major role in the tourism developments of sun and sea destinations, relatively little research has been done within the hospitality literature to investigate the relationships between satisfaction with all-inclusive, destination satisfaction and loyalty to a destination. Moreover, the measurement of satisfaction with all-inclusive resorts is lacking. Therefore, the aim of this study is to examine relationships between satisfaction with all-inclusive resorts, satisfaction with destination, and destination loyalty, in order to understand the generation of tourist satisfaction with all-inclusive resorts. Based the previous theoretical and empirical evidence in the related literature, a questionnaire survey was conducted during summer 2008 at Antalya, a major sun and sea tourism destination of Turkey. The data were analyzed using several statistical techniques. The results suggested that there were significant relationships between satisfaction with all-inclusive resorts, satisfaction with destination and destination loyalty. It is also noteworthy that an all-inclusive package tour is the most popular traveling mode for tourists visiting Antalya.     

Generalized weak transfer continuity and the Nash equilibrium

This paper introduces the notion of generalized weak transfer continuity and establishes that a bounded, compact locally convex metric quasiconcave and generalized weak transfer continuous game has a Nash equilibrium. Researching my people,researching the “other”: field experiences of two researchers along shifting positionalities

Two researchers—one an Arab-Bedouin studying her own people from the Bedouin community, and the other belonging to Israel’s hegemonic Jewish society, studying women from the Druze minority—examine their positionalities as manifested in the field, analyzing their experiences and interaction with participants. Considerable importance and significant implications are customarily ascribed to the issue of whether a researcher is part of the culture studied or external to it. By contrast, this study challenges prevailing notions in professional literature, exploring fluctuations in the positioning of both researchers that occurred as they conducted their study, despite their ostensibly clear and obvious position, analyzing these effects on the sense of affinity to or remoteness from the participants, their culture and inner worlds.     

The effects of external migration on enrolments,accumulated schooling and dropouts in Punjab

External migration in developing countries can relax household income constraints because of external remittances. This paper looks at whether the external migration of individuals in a household has a positive effect on schooling outcomes of children as measured by school enrolments, accumulated level of schooling, number of days spent in school and dropouts in Punjab. Historic migration rates were used to instrument for migration in an analysis of school outcomes for children of different ages to see which group has been most affected by external migration. The results show a significantly positive impact of external migration on the enrolments of younger children, whereas, the accumulated level of schooling for older children increases significantly if there is an external migrant in the household.
