在经济转轨时期,中国女性的劳动力供给表现出"非理性"现象:在劳动力市场的性别歧视越来越严重的情况下,女性人力资本投资却不降反升.婚姻市场的教育匹配和分层趋势,说明女性人力资本投资不但在劳动力市场上有收益,在婚姻市场上也有收益.劳动力市场上的性别歧视导致女性人力资本投资在劳动力市场的收益率下降,但只要这一投资行为在婚姻市场的收益率上升足以弥补这种损失,女性增加其人力资本投资就是一种理性的选择.  相似文献

电力系统在进行电力供应时,原有的城市架空线路逐步被电缆所替代,城市无杆化已成为城建工作的重要部分,加上城市建设道路拓宽等原因,使用城区内l0kV外网配套施工量越来越大。但是由于电缆埋藏于地下,运行环境复杂,使电缆故障的寻找较为困难,因此,在施工时一定要从型号、敷设、电缆头制作及在施工过程中要考虑问题等进行分析,确保施工质量,提高电力系统供电可靠性、减少用户和供电部门的经济损失。  相似文献

分别按照地区、行业、市值三种分类标准对我国沪深市场股票进行分类,以股票为网络节点,研究了三种分类标准下的股票同配性,进而研究了行业分类标准下的网络导航现象。结果表明:上海市场和深圳主板市场在阈值较高、按行业分类时表现出较为明显的同配性;沪深股市在阈值较低时表现出一定的异配性,而当阈值达到一定程度时表示出较强的同配性;网络导航现象体现了股市中异类股票间的相互影响作用;中国股市存在较多的网络导航现象;在较长时期内造成该现象的主要原因是分类标准不准确、股票涉及共同的炒作概念、具有共同的股权投资对象、新股上市日期相近等,短期内的原因还包括消息面或事件性的驱动因素。  相似文献

I study the welfare and distributional consequences of introducing the student‐proposing deferred acceptance in a model where schools have exogenous qualities and the benefit from attending a school is supermodular in school quality and student type. Unlike neighborhood assignment, deferred acceptance induces nonpositive assortative matching where higher type students do not necessarily choose neighborhoods with better schools. Student types are more heterogeneous within neighborhoods under deferred acceptance. Assuming an elastic housing supply, deferred acceptance benefits residents in lower quality neighborhoods with more access to higher quality schools. Moreover, more parents will “vote with their feet” for deferred acceptance, other things equal, than for neighborhood assignment.  相似文献

This paper shows that, in a group‐lending scheme with joint liability, a microfinance institution can achieve a Pareto improvement by promoting negative assortative matching among borrowers. The main results are: (i) borrowers may be better off in heterogeneous groups; and (ii) a heterogeneous group equilibrium is possible when individual or homogeneous group equilibria do not exist.  相似文献

Japanese household‐level data consisting of husband's earnings, wife's working status and their schooling levels are used to test three hypotheses, with particular consideration given to the time‐consuming process of human capital accumulation within marriages. The empirical results supports the following hypotheses: (i) a non‐working wife's schooling has a greater positive effect on her husband's earnings than a working wife's schooling; and (ii) the effect of a non‐working wife's schooling increases with the length of marriage, whereas the effect of a working wife's schooling does not change over the course of marriage.  相似文献

We show that couples sort on performance pay with dual receipt couples much more likely than predicted by random. In addition, we show that the return to performance pay appears largely invariant to whether one's spouse earns performance pay. The major exception is that among the college educated, the return to performance pay is larger for women when their spouse also receives performance pay. Thus, dual receipt households concentrate the returns to performance pay hinting that performance pay may influence the distribution of household income.  相似文献

The current research considers whether romantic pair-bond motivations influence numerical preferences. Across cultures and throughout history, the number “2” has been symbolic of a romantic pair bond. We propose that reminders of romance lead people to prefer the number “2” and other associated even numbers. A series of studies demonstrate that romantic motives—goals related to forming a romantic pair-bond—increase preference for the number “2” and other numbers of its parity (i.e., even vs. odd numbers) as well as marketing stimuli featuring even (vs. odd) numbers. This effect is specific to romantic motives and does not occur for motives related to other social relationships, such as work relationships, kinship, and friendship. Consistent with the motivational perspective, the desire to form a romantic relationship statistically mediates the effect of romantic cues on preference for even numbers. Subsequently, the effect of romantic motives on preference for even (vs. odd) numbers are suppressed when the focal goal has been already achieved (i.e., having a romantic relationship) or when an individual endorses a promiscuous lifestyle (i.e., having multiple partners simultaneously).  相似文献
