| 摘 要： | 习语是语言的精华,它带有浓厚的民族色彩和鲜明的文化内涵,英汉习语作为两种不同的语言瑰宝,由于其独特的文化而表现出明显的差异。本文借助一些典型的例子,进行比较与分析,探讨了英语习语和汉语习语之间存在的差异。本文讨论了直译、意译、代换法等翻译方法。

| Abstract: | Idioms are the essence of language, which have strong national colors and distinctive cultural connotation. English and Chinese idioms, as two languages＂ gems, showed significant differences, because of their unique culture. With the help of some typical examples, this paper made a comparison, analysis and explored the differences between English idioms and Chinese idioms. This article discussed the translation method such as the literal translation, free translation, and substitution law. |
