European sovereign debt crisis is derived from Greece, and then it has experienced the process of escalation and overspreading and now has spread to the entire euro-zone countries. It has caused the dramatic impact to the global economy and financial markets. The long-term welfare systems of European countries arc an important reason that led to this European debt crisis. High welfare has increased the financial burden, dragged on the European economy, led to the change of political and social structure strangled the driving force of social development and exacerbated the inequitable distribution. The European sovereign debt crisis has revealed that we should establish the appropriate social welfare system, perfect the management model of social security and strengthen the supervision of social government debt .
