| Abstract: | The roles of the proficiency testing in the environmental monitoring laboratories were expounded. By some examples it was demonstrated that the proficiency testing was a strong complement to the internal quality control of the environmental monitoring laboratoried, and it pushed forward the improvement of the overall level of the environmental monitoring laboratories. |
