The trade cooperation of China,Japan and South Korea,the three core countries of Northeast Asia,has undergone an evolution process from being community-driven to government-driven.Observed in a general way,the trade volumes of the three countries keep increasing by the year,and the three countries concerned are experiencing both complementary and competitive coexistence in trade structure and are coming into closer trade ties with each other steadily.Currently,the trade relationship between them,which features chiefly functional cooperation,display the following characteristics.They are closely dependent on each other while being mutually complementary and competitive,and their wish for cooperation is strong despite the existing hindrances.
