Research Progress in Acceptability Risk Assessment of Oil & Gas Pipeline

An introduction is made of the importance of acceptability risk research and the principles for determining it and a summary is made of the factors affecting acceptability risk. Taking the risk assessment of oil and gas pipeline for example, a comprehensive analysis is made of the methods for assessing risk acceptability to human safety and environmental protection caused by pipeline failure and leakage. Some basic ideas for formulating standards for risk acceptability of oil and gas pipeline are proposed in light of the research findings at home and abroad. Finally, a discussion is made of the problems to be solved and future directions for China's research in acceptability risk assessment of oil and gas pipeline.
