| Abstract: | This paper examines the effects of FDI knowledge spillovers and independent R&D inputs on innovation abilities of domestic enterprises based on knowledge production function,using dynamic panel data of 17 sub-sectors of the high-tech industries in China from 1995 to 2008.We find that:(1)R&D inputs of domestic enterprises are the most important factors for their innovation abilities.(2)R&D activities of foreign-invested enterprises cause knowledge spillovers to the domestic enterprises,and promote the innova... |
