| 摘 要： | 中原经济区是客观存在的,其主要特征是:人口众多,区位交通优势明显,农业地位突出,资源较为丰富,发展水平较低,经济综合竞争力下降。构建中原经济区切合区域经济学理论,并已具备了相应的客观条件。加快建设中原经济区,对于保障国家粮食安全、加快中原崛起、支撑中部崛起、完善全国区域发展格局具有重大的战略意义。河南经过长期的发展,具备了建设中原经济区的能力。
