| Abstract: | This paper focuses on the impacts of computer networks on the big firm locations. Initially the concept, types and patterns of the computer network are discussed. Then, the attention is turned to the analysis on the impacts of the network from the aspects of locatoin flexibility and spatial labour division. Thirdly, the findings of some case studies both in foreign countries and China are introduced. Finally the geographical implications emerging from the computer network are drawn. |
