| 摘 要： | Citistate理论是西方城市与区域经济发展中的一种新理论，从其基本内容和形成背景考察，这一理论对我国城市与区域经济发展具有重要指导意义。我国在新型工业化建设进程中，可以借鉴Citistate理论的基本思想，构建城市与区域经济管理新体制，以Citistate为主体，科学规划城市与区域经济的发展，增强Citistate的竞争意识，提高城市与区域的核心竞争力，促进城市与区域经济的持续、快速、协调发展。

| Abstract: | The theory of Citistate, advanced by the American scholars in 1993, provides new horizon on the development of urban and regional economy. The paper makes a detailed analysis of its background and content and discusses its referential significance to China in its urban and regional development. The paper holds that the theory can play a role of guideline in programming urban construction, setting up regional economical administrative systems, promoting urban and regional core competitiveness and facilitating a coordinated and sustainable development of the urban and regional economy. |
