The Organizational Design of Commercial Banks In an Uncertain Environment

Environmental elements can influence the organizational design and the function of commercial banks from different angles. This paper analyzes managerial environment of commercial banks from two dimensions, i.e., simplicity-complexity and stability-instability. There exist many uncertainties in banking position, department, organizational difference and integration, controlling process, analytical plan and prediction. Organizational structure needs a suitable position between internal structure and external environment.
