The Impact of Electronic Currency on Monetary Policy:Analysis of Supply and Demand Level

Along with the continuous development of the network technology,the shopping conducts and the way of payment by consumers have also changed.Such paying methods as credit cards,electronic cash and electronic checks are booming.Social environment with no cash has become a trend.Electronic currency has come into being in response to the development of electronic payment system,and the innovation of varying kinds of payment methods supported by consumers.This article is mainly discussing the impact against the Central Bank’s monetary policy from the two aspects of supply and demand of electronic money.
