| 摘 要： | 美国社区学院的独特发展模式被世界其他国家广泛效仿。关国社区学院之所以取得了举世瞩目的成绩，原因是多方面的，其中作为“美国精神”的实用主义哲学思想对社区学院的发展产生了巨大的影响，主要体现在：开放性和公平性的实用主义教育宗旨；实用性的专业与课程设置原则；“从做中学”的实用主义教育方法。同时实用主义哲学也对美国社区学院产生了一些消极的影响。
