英汉"喜悦"情感隐喻的比较分析

隐喻作为一种普遍的语言现象，在各种语言中均有所体现。“喜悦”情感这一抽象的概念常常是用隐喻来表达的。英、汉两种语言中都有大量表达“喜悦”情感的隐喻，这些“喜悦”情感隐喻存在着一定的共性，这源于人类相同的生理特征和情感体验，但是英汉语言中也存在互不对应的“喜悦”情感的概念隐喻，这是源于各自不同的文化背景。

A Contrastive Analysis of "Happiness" Metaphor between English and Chinese

Metaphor is a common phenomenon in every language,and emotions which is abstract in nature is one of the most central and pervasive aspects of human experience.So,more often than not,people express their feelings or emotions with metaphors.There are a lot of similarities between English "happiness" emotion metaphors and the Chinese ones as emotions may have the same psychological effects on different people of different languages and may cause the same physical reactions.But there cannot always be a one-to-one relationship between English and Chinese due to cultural difference.
